Reis een kronkelende, afgelegen bergweg recht in het hart van het Catskill State Park en ontdek de genezende kracht van Ravenscliff, een prachtig zen-achtig toevluchtsoord genesteld in meer dan 22 hectare diep bos. Deze prachtige twee verdiepingen boeg voorzijde log huis biedt dramatische plafond tot vloer ramen, verzonken woonkamer met 30 voet hoge kathedraal plafonds, grote houten balken en een majestueuze stenen open haard. Overal hout, kalksteen en leisteen.

Prachtig voor- en achteraanzicht met bergtoppen en rotspartijen. Vier unieke slaapkamers omvatten twee grote slaapkamers en 3 ½ badkamers. Ze zijn allemaal smaakvol ontworpen om de zintuigen te strelen en de ziel te kalmeren. Geschikt voor elf personen comfortabel. Grote open designer / gastronomische keuken met zwart granieten werkbladen heeft state of the art armaturen en roestvrijstalen apparaten. Grote zolder, kantoor, twee auto garage en drie buitendekken completeren het 3900 vierkante voet naar huis.


Geniet van het rijke erfgoed van de Hudson-rivier en ontdek de verborgen watervallen en de overvloedige flora en fauna in de omgeving. Schilderachtige stadjes zoals Stone Ridge, Woodstock, High Falls [opgericht in de jaren 1600] en Rhinebeck met winkels en goede restaurants liggen op slechts enkele minuten afstand.

Als je van kunst en muziek houdt, boek dan een avond in het Bearsville Theatre of woon een Midnight Ramble bij op het privéterrein van de overleden, grote, legendarische Grammy-winnaar Levon Helm [drummer met de “Band”] op een van de intieme maar toch rockende zaterdagavond sessies in Woodstock. Too Good To Review :)

When a house is rarely soooo perfect, better than the photos and review I hesitate to review because I want to keep it a "best secret"....but Kathy is such a wonderful host and has a pristine and cozy elegant home that I just had to write this for others who would appreciate art, beauty, graciousness and care in a home that they will rent. One can see a lifetime of collection of textiles and other objects of art all around the house, the kitchen is perfectly stocked, laundry room was large and easy, bedrooms are large, have cozy beds and sheets...and the bathrooms are pristine and beautiful. Kathy is a perfect host, kind and communicative.

Wonderful Stay

Ravenscliff was such a great place for our family vacation, we cannot wait to book again! The kids were so happy to explore the lush nature on the property and it was such a sweet surprise to wake up to deer in the morning! This cabin felt like a home away from home. It was clean, decorated beautifully, spacious with state of the art appliances, and we loved the location. It’s a perfect place for a family reunion, and for a holiday getaway. Cabin from Heaven

What an amazing place to stay! We had the best time in this spiritual oasis tucked in the woods. The rooms were so cozy and provided us will everything we needed. The bathrooms were spacious (especially the one with the jacuzzi). The living room was inviting with its beautiful fireplace and we even indulge in an outdoor bonfire with s’mores! We have found our special place to come every year for our annual trip. Thanks again for such a great getaway Ravenscliff!

Gorgeous Property!

Our VRBO fell through last minute. Kathy went above and beyond to help us get rebooked here. How fortunate for us to end up in this beautiful home! Our adult children and spouses each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The home was immaculate. We were busy with a family reunion nearby, and our only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here! Ravenscliffe is absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do justice! Open floor plan with chefs kitchen. Huge master suite with a spa like master bath. Beautiful home and very well appointed and curated. Ravensclaw is at the higher end of rentals, yet very reasonably priced. You do not need to bring anything… except your stress (which will quickly fade away...). We look forward to staying here again very soon.

Amazing every little detail this house is fantastic! the beds the sheets the furniture the exotic decorations so spacious and comfortable. We stayed for a Suny New Paltz graduation and it was about 30 mins from the school. 11 of us all plenty of room. Can’t beat the scenic property.

Family Christmas trip

This will be my sons first Christmas and I was looking for the perfect weekend get away to gather the family. This house was perfect! We had a total of 10 guest from adults to infants and there was plenty of room to add more guest if needed. Very well maintained and extremely clean!! Great space for family wedding weekend

We attended a country wedding in beautiful Ulster county and rented Ravens Cliff to accommodate our family rather than renting 4 rooms at a hotel. The house is excellent - charming, nice finishes and very spacious - tucked away in a forested setting. It was great for the family before and after the wedding. Would highly recommend it!!

Peaceful Getaway

We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to get away. However, we all felt that the house could have been cleaner. The lighting in the house was extremely dim. The outside grill was below standard. And the indoor fireplace needed to be cleaned out prior to our using it.

The property is perfect for a quiet getaway with a large family or friend group of 6-8 people. The house is immaculately clean and has ample sleeping accommodations.
