Beautiful views
The views from the house are amazing. We lucked out, having stellar weather in April. Blue skies and sunshine made all the difference staying at this location. We were able to see the mountain and explore the beach, enjoyed the hot tub and had a memorable anniversary weekend. * The sunrise comes through the master bedroom window with power! Very bright, very early. If you're not an early riser, bring eye covers or sleep in the other bedroom. * The deck is awesome. Would be nice if barbecue was on the deck- maybe it is during summer months but was not in April. * Loved the robes for the hot tub. * Easy to find and dog friendly. * Had a wonderful stay!

Amazing views of water, wildlife, and Mt Rainier!
Terrific house to celebrate our anniversary with memorable views of the Sound and Mt Rainier at sunrise and sunset from the windows and deck. We were fortunate to have clear and sunny weather during most of our short stay in this quiet, clean, and comfortable home. We enjoyed the space, hot tub, and beach area with lots of wildlife, including seals and herons, to view. The house included most everything one would need for a relaxing stay. Wendy was a gracious host and we enjoyed our time here very much!

Amazing!!
My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights and wow is this place a dream! Wendy was awesome and responded promptly to any question I had throughout the stay! We had a fire watching the sunset on the water, used the hot tub to warm up on the cool nights and even got to rent a kayak! Hopefully it will be available next year because we are looking forward to staying here again!

Very nice house on the water
We really enjoyed our time at this well-appointed home on the water. The hot tub with a view was a particular treat. AC is a listed amenity which we found a bit misleading since there is only one wall unit and it is in the second bedroom. It was in the upper 80's when we were there so the house got a little warm. Overall a very nice stay.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay! I looked back over the listing. The AC details were explained as a window unit. I also provided an extra Floor fan. Family Getaway
We absolutely loved our 2 night stay! The setting and view was amazing and can't be beat. Kids enjoyed combing the beach at low tide, kayaking, and watching seals, and jellyfish. The quite setting, views, and the back deck made for a lovely spot to sit and take it all in. It was a perfect spot for our family of 6 to get away together.

Amazing view
We loved everything about this property. From the morning and evening views of Rainier to the hot tub, it was just what we needed. Felt so secluded and was very quiet yet a good midpoint for trips to Olympic, Rainier and Seattle. Taking the kayaks out on the inlet was a nice option to have as well.

Absolute Must Stay!
This place is simply beautiful! The views are second to none. Eld Inlet, Mt Rainier, open beach, passing boaters, AMAZING sunrise - beautiful sunset colors on the mountain, sky full of stars! Has it all. Super quiet neighborhood and private garden, hot tub and large deck to take it all in. Not far from great restaurants, shopping, junk hunting etc. We spent a full day of doing nothing and loved every second of it. Stocked with everything you need, just being the groceries! Our pup, Huckleberry, was in heaven. He found a new friend in a local Chocolate Lab named Sadie. If you have a well behaved dog, not too big, it’s perfect for them to romp around. The owners were super communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend this property. If I could give 20 stars, I would!

Delightful!
The house was just right for our stay. We were working (one teleworking at the house, the other commuting to office in town), but the kitchen and dining room had everything to enjoy home cooked or takeout meals in the evening. The hot tub was especially nice, in any weather. The fireplace was cozy on rainy days, and when the sun came out...WOW! Gorgeous sunrise, sea lions cavorting in the inlet, and a fabulous view of Mt Rainier.

Quaint cottage get away.
This home is a bit of a drive from town, but is perfect for someone who loves being on the water with a view. We were fortunate to have clear skies and to see the beautiful Mt Tahoma. It was comfortable and clean. The front door lock was a bit tricky. We enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I had a great stay! My only two complaints and they didn't dissuade me from a 5 start review: 1. I couldn't log in to my own streaming accounts which isn't a big deal as I had other options. 2. Water pressure was lacking in the shower. Wendy was amazing and even helped me book an in house massage for my wife. I would definitely book this property again!

Just what we needed!
We live on the heart of Vancouver BC in a condo on the 22nd floor. With the stress and insanity the last three years have been, we seriously needed to unplug. This was the perfect place! Amazing views, on the shore, quiet, beautiful fauna and a well equipped kitchen. The host suggested my new favourite grocery store too. We were going to kayak but the weather wasn’t working. This one’s a winner!

Wonderful relaxing stay!
Our stay here was wonderful. The house had everything we needed. We were far enough away to feel “away” , but so conveniently close to everything. The view is amazing and the grounds were just beautiful. The only downfall was the hot tub jets were not all functioning. I informed the host and they offered free use of the kayaks. It was a great gesture. We would definitely go back. Thank you for a relaxing week.

Cozy lake house
We had such a lovely stay here and would definitely return. The house was a perfect size for our group of 4. The kitchen was well equipped which was great as we cooked every evening. We loved sitting around the living room and playing games all evening. The water views were stunning and our group enjoyed using the hot tub after our long hikes.

Harbor Seal Sleep Paradise!
My husband and I had a lovely stay in this wonderfully maintained refuge on the water. We invited four 25 year old family members and the young ladies were surprised and delighted by the fresh, bright furnishings. This is no dusty fishing cabin, but a sparkling clean hang spot with bright colors, fresh elegant decor and lots of outdoor space. We found everything we needed - all the thoughtful touches of hospitality - the hot tub was warm, the throws were cozy and the bedding was wonderful. We kayaked every day to visit with the mama harbor seals and their babies, and jumped in the cold water. The hot tub was always the days ender and we loved the quiet and the views. If you need privacy and relaxation, this lovely little house and cottage (we rented both) are just the ticket.

The view is everything!
We had a wonderful time. The photos don’t quite do the mountain view justice. The home and property were clean. We cooked all our meals and had everything we needed. From relaxing on the deck, walking on the beach, playing games and soaking in the hot tub, our entire stay was just the respite we needed. The host was always available, quick to respond and went above and beyond to help us celebrate our kiddo’s birthday. This trip was just the reset our family needed!

Wish we could have stayed longer
We had an amazing time. The property is perfect! You are close to major highways but far enough out that you feel like you are in the country. It’s so quiet and peaceful watching the tide go in and out. The amenities are amazing, top brand everything! The beds are so comfortable. The views are brilliant. My mom is 83 and on oxygen and we could literally drive right up to the front door with only two steps for easy, safe entry. What a stress reliever that was for us. We also used the cottage, which absolutely adorable. We have stayed in many rentals in the area every year and this is by our favorite!! Will be back! Thanks!!!

Serene Property With Stunning Views of Puget Sound & Mt Rainier
This was an as-advertised property yet so much more! Did I mention the views?!! There were only two of us, but the cabin had plenty of room to accommodate 6 - 8, especially with the onsite cottage. The host was instructive, helpful, and available for any questions. The property was clean, quaint, and had a private beach with plenty of outdoor settings to accommodate all ages. They have kayaks to rent, use of a hot tub, books, television, plus games to play; and the kitchen is fairly well-stocked with utensils, etc. Unique and fun touches makes this property feel homey. Easy driving distance to Olympia for anything you need or to visit area attractions. Great experience; would definitely stay again!

Beautiful backside getaway
We loved our stay here! The house was lovely, quiet, and peaceful. Everything was wonderfully maintained and the owners very responsive and helpful. Waking up every morning to the beautiful water views was exactly what we needed to escape the busy grind back home. We also appreciated the location of the house which is only 20 or so mins into town, where you can find restaurants/shops. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful place to use as a base to see the Olympic Peninsula and surrounding areas.
The home was perfect for my wife, me, and the dog. The home is very clean, right on the water, private, and has private parking so we don't have to worry about completely unloading. The landscaping is very nice, you can walk down to the water and walk on the beach when the tide is out. We had everything we needed in terms of utensils and appliances and then some. There was plenty of room to walk the dog. The sides of the street leading to the home were lined with blackberry bushes with the berries ripening while we were there. There are also blueberries but not as many. While there we went to Mt. St Helens and could easily have gone to Mt. Rainier but we passed it up on this trip having been there previously. We took an overnight trip from the home to see the western beaches and the rainforest area in Olympic National Park and hike the short trail to Cape Flattery before overnighting in Port Angeles. The second day we went to Hurricane Ridge and visited various lighthouses and other sights on the way back to the rental home. It was really nice only taking with us what we needed for a night away rather than having to pack everything and having a place to come back to without having to worry about check in times and the like. Having access to a washer and dryer is like icing on the cake when travelling. We were on the road between Girdwood, AK and Olympia for six days prior to arriving and when we left Olympia, we were again looking at six days travelling before spending a week in one location so we could catch up on wash and sleep in a day or two. Both the owner and her sister who takes care of the property were easy to work with and helpful as well as good conversation.

Beautiful view, comfortable place
We enjoyed the three day stay at this property. The host was responsive and welcoming. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well furnished, the bedding especially comfortable, and the furnishings, while a little dated and mismatched, provided all that was needed. We enjoyed walks on the beach and the relative seclusion while visiting nearby family. We would stay here again.

So peaceful!
We enjoyed the peace of the sound while taking advantage of the hot tub and kayaks! Very comfy. The only issuse was the back deck, needs a little work. We were afraid of nails popping up...had to wear shoes and some of the wood was rotten. Other than that, had a wonderful!! Time!

The View Is Unforgettable!
We booked this waterfront flat for the hot tub but it came with much more. While I was packing, I received an email that the flat was ready and I could move in anytime. I have rented many VRBOs and no one has proactively let me know I can move in early until Wendy, one of the homeowners. This is a family owned respite and has such a feel. We felt at home preparing meals, enjoying a fire in the fireplace, and selecting a novel from the abundant library. It was Seahawk Sunday so we enjoyed the game on a TV much bigger than our own. And then there's the view. It was sunny and clear so we experienced Mt. Rainer over the water while in the hot tub. Not to be missed. You can't go wrong with this vacation rental!

Great picturesque cottage
We love the Olympia cottage, the deck views were spectacular, the rocky beach always fun to explore, the hot tub inviting at night. Some people have called the decor dated, we found it charming and cozy with plenty of space to hang out between excursions. The location is just remote enough to not have the city next door but not so remote as to make groceries and dinners a bother. It's only about 20 minutes to Olympia but it's also close to parks, nature trails and other goodies. The cottage was very well stocked, in fact I would say the most well stocked of any of the VRBO homes I have rented. The pantry was stuffed with cooking essentials that you might forget when shopping. The bed was comfortable and there's a great TV room and an extra bathroom. The kitchen is small but has a table and everything you may need. There are bookshelves crammed with books, binoculars to view across the sound and an amazing view of Mt. Rainier, which is spectacular at sunset. We would go on excursions during the day and then go back to the cottage and have dinner and soak in the tub under the moon. All in all we had a great time here and I'd highly recommend this location if you're visiting the area. The only drawback was the traffic between SeaTac and Olympia, but that's due to construction on the freeway that I'm sure will be done at some point.
