Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen vanaf het balkon en gedeelde voorzieningen, zoals een sauna en een zwembad, in dit prachtig appartement in de bergen! Het is perfect voor kleine groepen, meerdere paren en gezinnen van maximaal zes personen.

Gelegen in de Tavern Inn complex, slechts twee mijl van Squaw Valley Resort, dit appartement biedt het beste van beide werelden. Er is een gemakkelijke toegang tot het dorp en de eenzaamheid die u wilt en een pendeldienst is beschikbaar voor eenvoudige navigatie in het hele gebied, ook.

Het interieur van dit goed ingerichte appartement is warm en uitnodigend met een smaakvol, modern meubilair en een mooi samenspel van licht en donker accenten en hout. De woonkamer is voorzien van hoge plafonds, een open haard en een flatscreen-tv met kabelzenders en een dvd-speler, evenals een stereo-installatie en WiFi-toegang.

Het eetgedeelte biedt plaats aan zes en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen door middel van glazen schuifdeuren, alsmede toegang tot het balkon. De keuken heeft alle veel opslag, granieten werkbladen, en standaard roestvrij stalen apparatuur, waaronder een vaatwasser.

Deze twee slaapkamers (plus zolder), twee bad ruimte biedt plaats aan maximaal zes personen met twee queen-size in de slaapkamers beneden en twee aparte bedden in het hok. Er is ook een wasmachine en droger in deze woning.

Het complex zelf biedt een seizoensgebonden zwembad, twee hot tubs, de gemeenschap grills, tennisbanen en een voetbalveld, evenals een speeltuin. De nabijheid van Squaw Valley biedt wereldklasse skiën en snowboarden over 4.000 acres. En er zijn tal van mogelijkheden om te dineren, winkelen, yoga en spa-behandelingen in aanvulling op de muziek het hele jaar door.

Very easy to get to Palissade or Alpine Meadow. Mountaineer gets you to palissade but not Alpine. Well equip condo. Parking spots availlable ( easier during week days )

Great location very close to Palisades Tahoe. Condo is very clean and well equipped. Despite the little challenge of carrying all the luggage to the third floor, we had great time there. Thank you!

The condo was a mile from the mountain and with the Mountaineer App we didn’t have to drive at all which was fabulous! The hot tub was great and the location better - we will be back.

The unit was nicely appointed, well equipped, everything worked with exception of coffee bean grinder, did contact property manager with some questions and they were not familiar with the property or location, couldn’t answer our question , we figured it out though, otherwise the unit was comfortable and worked well for our vacation

This was a beautiful condo. I would definitely stay here again. My only suggestions would be to add shower gel in both bathrooms, better coffee maker with compatible filters and a full set of wine glasses.

We arrived and found the 2 flights of outdoor steps to the unit had over 2 feet of snow on them AND there was no snow shovel in the unit or anywhere to be found. We did our best dragging all our luggage up the stairs and eventually bought a snow shovel. The outdoor steps should be flagged as part of the advertisement for the unit and we fault the owner for not having a shovel. There was no information about parking and we had to fend for ourselves; the advertisement says there are 2 parking spaces but the truth is that it is first come first served and when there is a lot of snow - good luck. The unit was poorly supplied: there was no salt & pepper; no coffee filters; no scrub brush for washing dishes; and no tea kettle. Vacasa was no help and the HOA was MIA. The hot tub is far away through snow and slush and others said they could not get into it through the locked gate - we didn't try. This should also be flagged in the ad for the property. Otherwise the unit was clean and comfortable.

We stay in half dozen of ski condos every year and this is one of the best condos we have ever rented (this was our second stay in this place). This condo is just beautiful, decorated with stunning skiing themed photographs by a renown artist, and equipped with modern tasteful furniture. The location is the best you can get for skiing at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows, just few minutes away from each. Kitchen is well equipped for simple cooking, though having one extra set of silverware would help.

The propery was exactly as listed, pristine clean and organized, with a very well thought use of every space. It's 4 minutes drive to Palisades' base, and 10 minutes to Alpine, so perfectly placed for skiing. We would definitley stay again.

Location, location, location. This place was minutes from Olympic Village and Alpine Meadows and 20-30 minutes from several other ski resorts in the area. Added bonus, it is literally across the street from ski rental place. We really enjoyed our stay here. Comfy and spacious.

Pros: ideal location in Olympic Valley, just off 89. Nice floorplan. Unit smelled strongly of cleaning product and was clean (aside from extra covers below) Cons or things to be aware of: *3rd floor unit. Not a problem but not advertised anywhere. Challenging to find when arriving late at night. No elevator if traveling with elderly (not our case) *unit is bare basics -no ski rack or peg rack to put skis? -kitchen frying pans are well loved and could use replacing -limited large bowls for serving food or salad -no tupperware; if making your own meals for skiing, bring your own -no foil, saran wrap, ziplocks etc. -chair cushions in dining area are all stained and need to be washed -comforters are lightweight. We were especially cold the first night. ****MINIMAL extra covers (2 for 6 beds) The two we found were stained with **BLOOD** & yellow stains******* -toilet in main hall has broken chain mechanism that is jerry-rigged and it kept needing to be reattached -only one washcloth per bathroom with an occupancy of 6 -BUZZING/whirring sound in hot water heater and furnace closet which is behind sofa in main living area. -fireplace operation requires detailed directions, which we couldn’t find anywhere despite listing mentioning they were on fireplace and in the guest book. There was no guest book to be found. We called Vacasa and they said they would send someone out on Friday night. I finally found instructions on the floor UNDER the couch. I also received an email 2 days later with electronic instructions. We made sure to document our frustrations via the app. By Sunday night (the 3rd night into our stay), we got a text message from the local Vacasa rep saying they were out of comforters and could bring some Monday. We were checking out Monday. Review of Vacasa: if you have no issues, your stay should be amazing. We found it challenging that we could never speak with anyone local at Vacasa, we could only deal with their call center in Oregon. Our issues never were addressed. We ended up sleeping in sweatshirts and hats and finally turned up the heat, which we don’t like to do because we don’t sleep as well. As mentioned, we called Vacasa, submitted emails with pictures and even texts to give them an opportunity to fix some of these issues before leaving a review but when you can’t even speak with a local representative it is virtually impossible to resolve problems.

It’s a nice place to stay, everything was clean, unfortunately we tried to use the toaster and it wasn’t working, and the AC was not very responsive. Other than that the furniture was in good condition and had an overall good experience.

We have stayed with VRBO before and this property was bad :-(((( the air conditioning was not working, home was at 85F and the kids were miserable. We called the customer service #, stayed on hold too long, got a call back followed by voicemail - that stated that AC not working. Previous residents from Aug 2018 left same complaint in guest book. Wonder why the management will not fix this... The plates, bowls were chipped - which is bad chi, and not good to eat -unhygienic. The rugs, mats, upholstery has seen its good days and needs to be changed (past cleaning stage) the utensils were not sufficient. The fans creaked and made noise. No entertainment, board games or similar for kids / families. The towels not sufficient to last the stay duration. The ONLY PLUS is the location, which was a respite ... if the home is upgraded with necessities ... it will help to Make Home away from Home!

My husband and I spent 4 days here in early August for our 40th anniversary and enjoyed it very much. The property is very well maintained and stocked with necessary items. There were only the 2 of us, although the condo sleeps 6. It was very quiet and clean. The pool and hot tub are very nice and easily accessible. We liked the location. It's out of the congestion of Tahoe City and just a short drive to Squaw Valley. We liked the accessibility to the bike path that led into town and took advantage of that. The only suggestion is that a couple dish towels/tea towels need to be provided and maybe a couple of night lights. It's very dark at night and those would have been nice. We would like to come back at some point in time.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor with a nice bulcany. The interior is simple and comfortable. The only negatives are that the room next to the entryway can get loud from cars on the highway and the kitchen amenities are a bit lacking (cutting board old, no plastic wrap or aluminum foil). Also, the bedsheets are not good quality. Very scratchy and hard fabric. But overall, a really cozy apartment for a small family. You can walk to the Truckee river trail and take a long stroll next to the river.

The best condo we have stayed in during our 10+ ski trips. Very spacious, clean and we'll furnished and decorated. Loved huge fine art prints with skiing themes on walls of living room. Great for families. Hope to come again.

This place has beautiful furnishings, and an awesome location, just a block from where the road to Squaw Valley intersects 89. It has two nice bedrooms with with a king in one and a king or queen in the other (don't remember) plus a loft with two twins. Kitchen is functional and has most needed implements. Hot tub is 1 to 2 min walk. Do be aware it is a two flight walk-up.

Loved the property but the place need elevators as its max is 3stories hight and ruff to climb with luggage but overall great place and experience!
