Newly built in March 2025, this bespoke A-frame retreat was crafted with romantic getaways and special escapes in mind. Tucked away near Table Rock Lake, about 30 minutes from Branson, Cricket's Keep blends modern design with the cozy charm of a forest hideaway. Dog friendly.

◈ This A-frame is ideal for 2 adult guests only

◈ Not suitable for children

◈ No smoking or vaping inside. Outdoor smoking only, with full cleanup ($300 fee for smoke odor or leftover debris)

◈ Quiet hours from 10 PM – 8 AM

◈ Winter weather may impact road access—4WD recommended in snow or ice



Up to 2 well-trained dogs are welcome



◈Confirm you are aware and comfortable with a few important details about the property: The cabin is located about 8–10 minutes down a maintained dirt road. There’s no cell service on the dirt road or at the cabin, so I recommend downloading or screenshotting your arrival info from the guidebook before heading into the area. While the cabin feels private, it’s in a peaceful area with a few other homes and rentals nearby, so it’s not completely off the grid! WiFi is provided via Starlink. The QR code usually works great, but the network name and password are also posted inside in case you need to connect manually. If Wi-Fi ever goes out, we’ve included easy troubleshooting steps in the guidebook and also have access to a backup network at a nearby neighbor’s cabin (all in the guidebook). Because of the rural setting, I do ask that guests are comfortable with light self-troubleshooting if needed.

Nestled off Old Cricket Road in Omaha, Arkansas, you're perfectly positioned:

◈ About 25 minutes to Top of the Rock and Big Cedar Lodge

◈ About 30 minutes to Branson, MO (dining, shows, attractions)

◈ About 45 minutes to Silver Dollar City

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1,000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company.



The optional damage waiver is $45 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per night for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.



So you'll be able to choose between the fully refundable security deposit OR the non-refundable damage waiver :)



To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.



Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay. These upgrades are optional and include:



🛎️ Early Check-In: Early check-in is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. If the home is ready early, the hour before check-in time is always free, and if you’d like to get in earlier, it’s $20 per hour.



😴 Half-Day Stay: Want to linger a little longer? A half-day stay is sometimes available, but not guaranteed. It depends on when the next guest arrives. If it is available, it’s $45.
