Fed by cool spring water and surrounded by natural stone, the grotto pool was designed to feel like an authentic Ozark swimming hole rather than a traditional swimming pool—one of the experiences guests mention most often after their stay. It is a completely natural, spring-fed water feature that is continuously filtered by flowing water through a combination of natural processes and professionally designed filtration systems. Because it is not chlorinated, its water level, clarity, and overall appearance naturally fluctuate with rainfall, seasonal conditions, and spring flow.

During periods of drought or unusually low rainfall, reduced spring flow can significantly impact water circulation and clarity. Unlike a traditional swimming pool, these natural conditions are outside of our control and cannot be immediately corrected through mechanical filtration or chemical treatment. As a result, the grotto pool may occasionally have lower water levels, reduced clarity, or a greener appearance than shown in our listing photos.

✔ Immersed in nature. Echo Creek sits on two wooded acres within a quiet lakeside community. While neighboring homes are thoughtfully spaced throughout the surrounding woods, the cabin, hot tub, dome, deck, and creek areas are designed to feel peaceful and private.

✔ A natural swimming experience. The spring-fed creek and grotto pool remain naturally cool year-round. Unlike a traditional swimming pool, the grotto was designed to feel like an authentic Ozark swimming hole. Water levels, aquatic life, and surrounding vegetation naturally change with the seasons and rainfall.

✔ Explore with care. The property features flowing water, natural rock formations, wooded terrain, and changes in elevation. We encourage guests to explore while wearing appropriate footwear and exercising reasonable caution.

✔ Wildlife is part of the experience. Deer, birds, butterflies, frogs, insects, and other native wildlife are common in the Ozark forest. They're part of what makes Echo Creek feel connected to nature.

✔ Fireplace note. During warmer months (above 75°F), please use the fireplace's decorative LED lighting only. The heat function is disabled to protect the unit.
