'Great property close to Porcupine Mountains. Clean rooms and great access to Lake Superior down a private pathway across the street. Hosts were great and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Motel is older, so rooms are 'cozy', but the hosts updated the rooms decor to make it very much like home. Love this place!'

'The property was a very old, well maintained farm house with as much as possible preserved from the past eras. We loved it!! When we first got there it was quite warm, due to some 90+* days prior. Thats when we discovered it was not air conditioned, however, there were fans for every room, and opening the windows cooled it down quickly. Even my grandsons loved the house, and playing in the nice big yard. It is VERY well located,close to Ontonagon, beaches, Porcupine Mtns, waterfalls etc...

'The property was exactly as it was described. It is a perfect retreat for two people. They owners literally thought of everything you could possibly need and fit it beautifully into a small space. We particularly loved the two decks and the firepit backing up to a beautiful wooded area. It was a very nice retreat to come home to after exploring the area during the day. The owners were quick to answer any questions and to provide information on the area.'

We love walking along the sandy beach, meals on the deck, and enjoying fires and stargazing by the lake. The house is convenient for the Porkies, waterfalls, and other sights in the area. We were sad to leave and hope to visit again!'
