Genesteld aan de zuidelijke oever van Lake Superior, Jarven Hytti is een luxe ervaring. De privé-omgeving biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het meer en het roze zandstrand van agaat. Niet jouw typische North Wood-hut, het door de architect geïnspireerde strandhuis in Finse stijl is spectaculair. Het slaapt comfortabel 8 personen. En de twee moderne, opgeruimde badkamers bieden comfortabel onderdak aan de gasten. Een moderne, volledig uitgeruste keuken, een grote familiekamer met een stenen open haard, comfortabele slaapkamers en een open haard op het terras dragen allemaal bij aan het gezellige, functionele vakantiehuis. Luxe beddengoed en inheemse dwergmeeririssen ronden een werkelijk prachtige uitje omgeving af. Love, love, love! Out of all the VRBO's I've stayed in, this one was my absolute favorite. From the homemade rhubarb cake, beautifully decorated and spotless house, to the amazing beach. What more can you ask for?

We got a later start to our day then we had hoped for so we knew we would be arriving well after the check in time. Check in was a breeze though! We had fresh homemade blueberry crepes waiting for us in the fridge to just reheat, which was a great since we didn't have a chance to do much shopping yet. We ate them for breakfast the next morning in front of the outdoor fireplace and they were delicious! They also made some sweet potato treats for our pup that he loooved! The walk to the beach was not far away from the property and filled with flowers and trees giving off the most beautifully fresh smells. The deck and firepit were at the top of the rocks going down into the beach area breaking the area up nicely incase you didn't want to get splashed, and just hangout by the firepit. Falling asleep to the waves was a huge bonus too! This was exactly what we were looking for and more. I suggest doing any grocery shopping before you get into the area because the closest store had some pretty bad reviews and the only other close option was the dollar general. Their selection wasn't bad and came in handy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and have already suggested the property to some friends looking for a relaxing trip.

Beautiful and spotless cabin with an awesome location. Really enjoyed the sound of the waves of Lake Superior, the birds in the morning, and relaxing at the beach! Internet was great, which allowed me to work remotely as needed and still enjoy the remote U.P. countryside!

Wonderful accommodations. The large deck was great for morning coffee, bird watching and listening to Superior’s soothing sounds. We captured beautiful sunrise and sunset photos.

Upon arrival at our beautiful cabin we were suprised by the delicious treat of a homemade rhubarb cake and freshly made whipped cream. Also homemade treats for the dogs. We had an fantastic time combing the beach for seaglass and rocks. The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, cozy everything we needed was supplied. Campfires by the beach with smores and beautiful sunsets with family. Would recommend this cabin to everyone looking for relaxation on beautiful Lake Superior.

This was a great location right on Lake superior and it had a lovely walkway to the beach. The house was very comfortable and I really enjoyed the fireplace since it was colder than expected during my visit. If you’d like to walk on the beach, I would highly recommend this location.

My partner and I planned a quick birthday celebration getaway. The property was as described and very enjoyable. We found it to be quiet but not too remote. We loved the fireplace and the cozy vibe. It’s immediately apparent a lot of care, planning and love went into the home. The proximity to the Porcupine Mountains is perfect. There are so many options for destinations for day trips as well. We loved it and hope to come back sometime soon. Highly recommend!

The best of the forest and the water! Right along the shore of Lake Superior and tucked in the sounds of the wild, it’s such a convenient location with a beautiful view. The Scandinavian atmosphere and treatment is most evident, we felt truly like guests. Our Labrador had a most wonderful stay as well. We are grateful for the opportunity to bring him along. We loved it all!

It was a wonderful home to enjoy winter. Beautiful lake ice to go look at from the decks. The house was done well enough to not howl in the fierce winds. So close to the park I could ski in the mornings, come back for lunch then go right back there rested.Because I don’t snowmobile I’m glad the tracks weren’t right on the property. We saw hundreds out and about but never heard or smelled one at the house.

absolutely wonderful place. loved the simple wood work design, the beautiful cozy fireplace, the view, need I say more, the well appointed kitchen, lacking for nothing. the bed was firm and comfy. and location so close to the Porcupine Mts perfect in the winter for down hill skiing and cross country skiing and snow shoeing which we enjoyed

I absolutely loved our stay. This is the one time we rented a house that looked lovely in the photos and was even better in person! I would move in. I was with my teen daughter, exchange student, and one of their friends for a ski weekend. We were all very impressed and very cozy and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located to all we wanted to do.This was a great stay and I highly recommend!

This property was a great location to renew and recover after a hard day of work. Even though the weather was treacherous over the weekend, the house was inviting, cozy and warm. The hosts were compassionate and helpful as we had a family need in the area. We are very grateful for their thoughtfulness. The property manager was amazing and helpful as well. We had an unforgettable stay at this charming VRBO on Lake Superior in Michigan. The cozy indoor fireplace was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The Christmas decorations made it feel even more magical, and we were so happy that we could bring our two dogs along to enjoy the getaway with us. We loved walking outside in the fresh snow, taking in the serene winter landscape. The highlight of our trip was when my then boyfriend, now fiancé, proposed to me right there—truly a romantic and wonderful experience. We can’t wait to return!

Pictures were exact representation of the rental. There were details such as labels on switches that made the stay we easier. It was appreciated that thought into details were taken by the host. Beach was great for walking, night time rock hunting. My whole family would definitely return.
