'A very nice and very new hotel located on a beautiful and lively beach. It has comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. In addition it has a restaurant about 100 meters away which serves a decent breakfast and very tasteful dishes at night. I had the delicious langostinos with the ajillo sauce, but the caribeños sauce which I also tasted was terrific as well. The very friendly and helpful owner Eduardo is a good host and he speaks English almost fluently.'
'Ciel y Miel is a beautiful boutique eco-lodge, but it’s important to know what to expect. It’s located inside a national park, so the final road is dirt and very remote. You park at the lower entrance and the staff drives you to the rooms.
Our first night was an adjustment after a long drive. The property was very quiet (we visited during the low season), and the jungle sounds took some getting used to. By morning, we realized how peaceful and beautiful it really was.

'De kamer was schoon. We hadden een terras vlak aan de zee. In het restaurant hebben we de 1 ste dag lekker gegeten. De 2 de dag was het zijn geld niet waard. 18$ voor 5 of 6 minimale stukjes langoustine en 3$ voor 15 frieten. Dat was er serieus over.

'Deze ecolodge heeft geen 5 sterren en wie hierheen gaat voor luxe kan beter ergens anders heen gaan. Maar deze plek is fantastisch gelegen midden in de natuur, met wandelwegen naar een waterval. De accommodatie is dus heel eenvoudig met schone bedden en gedeelde douche en toilet. Maar als je na een nacht met junglegeluiden wakker wordt en het uitzicht ziet, wordt je direct blij. Ook de maaltijden zijn van goede kwaliteit en prijs. '

'We had a great time during our visit. Apart from walking the village there isn’t much to do. We still made the most of our time and made friends with many locals.
We did feel a little uncomfortable at the end of our trip as the president was complaining that we had paid in advance and he expected us to pay for the hotel the day before we left. After we sorted everything he said with others and complained that we hadn’t spent enough during our trip. '
