'Large room, very clean, bed was OK. Good breakfast'

'The room was nice and clean, with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately there was difficulty accessing the room as the key card wasn't left, so after travelling all day it was pretty disappointing for it to take so long to access the room. The building itself was very difficult to find as Google maps did not give precise directions. The area felt a bit rough and potentially dangerous. I was woken up just before 5am with a message telling us to go to the owners cafe nearby to pay the visitor tax...

'I was in Siracusa for three weeks attending the Italian Academy. I found this flat after searching VBRO. I couldn't have been happier from the moment I walked in. The entry was easy and had been well explained. Riccardo always checked in with me to see if I was OK. The flat was clean and well-equipped. It was near my school, and a few minutes walk to Ortigia and supermarkets. It was easy to make this flat my home. I can't wait to come back next summer. Thank you Riccardo for everything.'
