'We had a great stay at the Kempinski High Tatrus. This hotel had an established, genuinely 5 star feel. It knows what it is, and delivers brilliantly. The setting is outstanding, with a frozen lake and snow on the ground, but we didn’t see a cloud in 4 days. The service is great, and the breakfast generous. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; there is a pillow and duvet menu… all in a great stay. '

Big negative is the jacuzzi they advertise in the pictures (the one with the great view)... they charge 100 euro per hour!!! We of course didn’t pay this, but we chose this hotel for that reason.'

'Hotel Lomnica is the absolutely top choice in High Tatras. Every single team member we met was, without fault, friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented. The state of the property is impeccable, and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Both cafe and restaurant offer exquisite fare (the price point is a bit higher but most definitely worth it). The room looked at the mountains, was spacious, and even featured a bath. Will most definitely come back!'

'Es war wieder ein sehr schöner Winterurlaub in der Hohen Tatra. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage (mitten im Ort, dicht am Skigebiet und am gut sortierten Supermarkt). Die Appartements sind groß, gut ausgesrattet und teilweise mit Balkon; wenn auch so langsam der Zahn der Zeit an vielen Ecken der Einrichtung nagt. 'Flot hotel med meget venlig personel, 7 min gang (i skistøvler) til en af de skilifter. Tekøkken havde alt vi havde brug for til et par enkelte retter vi lavede. Restauranten til morgenmad og aftensmad er virkeligt godt. Men desværre er der lidt udvalg til os som spiser vegetar - der var kød også i alle eller næsten alle varme retter. Der er uforståeligt at hver morgen skal der være bacon, salami, skinke og pølser - som pålæg, i alle kolde salater og varme rette(;samt æggerette) men ikke en...
