'Great hotel with a good location in town just west of the river. The rooms are spacious, clean and the lobby and restaurant/bar area would be at home in a classic Hollywood film. Very classic, old school luxury look and feel that is not expected at this price/trier. Stayed there four times for sports tournaments and look forward to going back! '

'The room was comfortable and clean. Wish the bar stayed open later for an after concert night cap, it was closed at 11 when we came back from Englert. Can’t beat this hotels location for its proximity to Englert and good restaurants in downtown Iowa City. Easy close parking ramp also. '

'Staff was helpful, room was clean and well stocked with bath linens, hotel and room was very quiet even though it was very close to the interstate, breakfast was hot, delicious and well stocked. '
