'Basic but good accommodation. Located next to the main Iceland ring route 1 in a small hamlet. Just a few houses and farms.
Complimentary breakfast buffet and some decent dinner options. Be aware that the closest supermarket is located in Hofn, 57km (!) East

'We stayed two nights on our Ring road trip, and it was one of the best places we’ve stayed on the island. Very comfortable beds, spacious 2 bedroom suite, gorgeous view of the fyord and very convenient to a grocery store, coffee house and a walking path. Our kids loved the maritime museum we’ve found nearby and the short hike to the Easter cave. Overall, we had a great stay which allowed us to rest between the strenuous activities and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful little town.'
