Geniet van aangepast vakmanschap in de meest prestigieuze paardensportgemeenschap in Zuid-Californië ... Orange Park Acres! Onze uitgestrekte ranch huis beschikt over 5 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers gescheiden in mini-suites door een gigantische woonkamer en westerse bibliotheek. De prachtige Master Suite beschikt over een eigen balkon, een bubbelbad en zijn / haar ijdelheden. Zorg ervoor dat u profiteert van ons stapelbed bij de gigantische achterporch! Of u nu wilt slapen voor zes of zestien (inclusief banken), wij verwelkomen u graag in de Barrett Family Ranch voor een kort of langer verblijf.

Ranch-stijl tussen de ritselende eucalyptusbomen. Slaap rustig terwijl warme winden de bomen ritselen en het zachte getjilp van krekels uit de nabijgelegen kreek dragen. Word wakker met zingende zangvogels en de zachte hinniken van paarden op de paden. Slechts enkele minuten van Disneyland, Angel Stadium in Anaheim en sprankelende stranden zoals Newport en Laguna, is Orange Park Acres een landelijk toevluchtsoord in het hart van de meest bezochte bestemmingen in Zuid-Californië. Orange Park Acres beschikt over een uniek systeem van bijna 30 mijl van recreatieve paard paden. Het is omgeven door meer dan 2100 hectare open ruimte in Santiago Park en Irvine Regional Park met de OC Zoo, Pony Rides en Train Rides ... perfect voor kinderen en paardenliefhebbers!


Dit 4050 vierkante voet 5 slaapkamers, 3 badkamers aangepaste woning ligt op een hectare veel omringd door paard paden en het prachtige uitzicht op Saddleback heuvels. Het vegen van 14'-plafonds geeft de Grote Zaal een immens gevoel net zoals de knappe gestapelde stenen houtgestookte open haard met een aangrenzende bibliotheek vol met Louis Lamour, Charles Russell en andere grote auteurs van de westerse wereld.

Een keuken voor entertainers met op maat gemaakte kasten, authentieke houtkachel (bijgewerkt met gas en zes branders voor kookstandaarden voor fijnproevers), antieke koelkastdeuren en een groot eiland met aparte gootsteen kunnen gasten helpen met koken! Kijk omhoog en een vintage, gehamerd tin-plafond verbindt de keuken met een achthoekige eetkamer met nog een stenen open haard en fantastische Franse deuren die openen naar gras en pruimenbomen. Glanzende dubbele schuifregelaars grenzen aan de woonkamer aan een groot overdekt terras en een met gras begroeide achtertuin, ideaal voor buitenmaaltijden en familiebijeenkomsten.

Beklim de wenteltrap naar de hoofdslaapkamer met 14-inch houten balkenplafonds, een kamer vol met warm glanzend antiek slaapkamermeubilair en een op maat gemaakte ceder met inloopkast. Geniet van de op maat gemaakte granieten open haard en fraai bewerkte mantel in uw Victoriaanse zitkamer en geniet van het uitzicht op de vallei vanaf uw eigen balkon. Stap af in een ruime romantische badkamer met antieke wastafels voor hem en haar, dubbele douchekoppen en een enorme jacuzzi gebouwd voor twee.

Extra slaapkamers bieden slaapgelegenheid voor nog eens 8-10 personen. Een klassieke kinderkamer met speelgoed en twee aparte bedden (kinderbedje beschikbaar) en een antiek Murphy-bed veranderen de knappe bibliotheek in slaapvertrekken.

This is a super unique home with a fascinating history! Great location (convenient yet quiet), and incredibly clean. Worked well for my eight person work team to have our company retreat.

While we were grateful for a place to house our family this house was not what I envisioned for a vacation home. It had too many things in it for little ones to touch. I was grateful we did not have toddlers or special needs children with us. The house was not well-suited for that group. There were not enoughg wash cloths for everyone and we had to hunt for towels so everyone had one for their showers. The drawers in the kitchen were not clean. We needed a map to find things in the kitchen. We also needed a map for which light switches worked for the lights. Again we were grateful for a place to sleep and shower but this was not a home to relax in though we could tell it had a lot of history and was loved by its owners.

A lovely place for our family to gather. There's plenty of room for everyone and lots and lots of cookware to make meals for a large crowd. The Wi-Fi is great, showers were great, and there were lots of toys for the little ones to play with. We were unfortunate enough to stay during a heatwave. The A/C system is not great. Some parts of the house (the back cabin, the downstairs bathroom, part of the living room) are nice and cool. As for the rest of the house, the air didn't travel well throughout our 4+ day stay and it got so frustrating that we ended up leaving a little early. I wish we had known this beforehand. Thankfully, they did supply us with plenty of fans (though they were pretty dusty) that kept us at bay but was still a struggle. It is an old house so perhaps that comes with the territory. Additionally, the fridges weren't up to date and didn't keep the food that cool and melted a lot of the ice cream. Overall, if you're looking for a place to gather with a large group and enjoy some meals, this is a great spot just be mindful about some of the compromises!

The house was roomy enough to accommodate Me and my husband, my children and their partners, and their children. Lots of places for us to get together and catch up with each other. It is decorated with so many interesting things to look at. Perfect location, near Disneyland and not to far from the beaches. We had a wonderful family reunion and the ranch was a big part of our trip. Thank you for providing such an amazing place for us to stay.

The home was beautiful and had so many awesome antiques. We visited for a trip to Disneyland and Universal Studios. Some of my family went to the parks early. I opted to enjoy the my lovely surroundings and relax and go with the later group. We had everything we needed and more during our stay.

This older home is situated in a quiet residential area consisting of small horse properties. The house easily accommodated our large family group of fourteen (six adults, eight kids ages 4 to 14) for a week. We never felt crowded, and no one had to wait in line for a bathroom. We made frequent use of the well-stocked kitchen, and the large deck (with a propane grill and strings of patio lights) was a great spot for outdoor meals. The house was amply supplied with towels, linens, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, dishware, and the like. We bought groceries, but otherwise had everything we needed to be comfortable. Once upon a time this 'ranch' featured the outdoor space typical of a large rural property, but now most of that space is not accessible to guests, and is in fact taken up by outbuildings, machinery, an old railroad car, and stacks of construction materials, and guests are not allowed, nor would they want, to wander outside the immediate vicinity of the house. The back yard is just big enough for kids to run around in; we brought bicycles, but it's not really a bike-friendly property or neighborhood. Each room is chock full of collectibles, memorabilia, antiques, and family heirlooms. There were enough toys and games provided to keep the four-year-old occupied, and while thankfully nothing got broken during our stay, the presence everywhere of so much irreplaceable personal property made the adults a little nervous. Our visit to SoCal included beach trips and two days at Disneyland. Getting to and from the 55 or 91 freeways takes less than ten minutes. Old Town Orange is just 15 minutes away, Disneyland 25 minutes, the nearest beach about 40 minutes in traffic. We would stay here again!

We had a great experience hosting the 2021 Water Polo Team! The house comes very well equipped for the entire stay. Kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The air conditioner worked throughout the house, but was stronger in certain parts of the house. We highly recommend this property to any large groups and families. The hosts were amazing to work with and that made it very easy for us to get everything organized ahead of our visit. Thank you for the great hospitality! Pomona Pitzer Water Polo Team!

The uniqueness of the house was exciting. The entrance was a perfect setting for our family event. The house was filled with history and intrigue. We were able to park our 4 cars in front he driveway. Some extra parking across from he street. The back bedroom air conditioning didn’t cool properly. The bunkhouse window unit did not cool adequately. The bunk house bed frames didn’t not fit the mattress. We shifted around and made it work for our family. The bathrooms and showers were great! So clean. Plenty of towels and linens. The outside reception area was shaded and convenient. The overall experience will be a fond memory to share with family as we recollect the, “Celebration of my Sister and Mothers Life.” The ease and convenient location served us well. The property met all our family needs. The proximity to Knotts Berry Farm, and the ocean beaches made it easy to schedule all the activities. The house was clean and well stocked, and was large enough to accommodate our extended family. The kids had a great time playing Hide N' Seek in all the secret closets. It was an excellent family gathering. We all enjoyed it immensely. Thank you for having us.

Everything went good.. unforgettable memories were created and the laughs were endless 😂. The only complaint that I have is the central air..we stayed here on one of the hottest record setting weekends ever and the a/c was not working in all the rooms..it was unbearable and very uncomfortable. Other than that, we had a great time 😉. Thank you Barrett's! 💙

So Mr. Barrett is awesome. He lives on the property in a small camping trailer, and could probably build a teleporter with all the tools, lumber and know-how in his brain. He runs at a slightly slower pace than the rest of the world, probably intentionally ;-) The property itself has a ton of heart and character. Richard will probably want to give you a tour of the entire house and show you every little knick knack, but has done this long enough to know what to highlight. You can tell this was his family home where he and his wife raised their kids. Lots of love, care and history here. If you're looking for a Marriott or Hilton property, this ain't it. It's clean but homey. Well organized, but definitely rustic. A couple of the guys who stayed with me this week are from rural Wyoming & Colorado - they felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked and organized - the Barretts definitely know what large groups require in a vacation home. The furniture is comfortable and spacious, and fits the space well. The Master bedroom is huge, includes a sitting area and a walk out deck that overlooks the backyard. The master bath is bigger than some of the bedrooms, and has 2 separate sink cabinets, plenty of linen storage, bath and shower, etc. The other bedrooms were fine, and could easily accomodate a large family. One of the bedrooms was quite small, but was decorated like a farm kid's bedroom, complete with a secret hide out! The deck off the living room was amazing - we didn't even use it for its intended purpose, but you could easily fit 30+ folks around the tables and BBQ your heart out. The 2nd fridge and oven combo on the deck worked out super well for us, we had flexible storage for drinks, desserts, etc. The community is VERY quiet, and the homes are spaced far enough apart, the parties happening around the neighborhood the week we stayed were not noticeable at all inside the ranch. Cell service (AT&T) wasn't awesome at the house, others with different carriers had varying results. Never turned on the TV with Apple TV unit, but it looks nice. Cristol O'Loughlin, Mr. Barrett's daughter was a joy to deal with - our conversation quickly solved a small misunderstanding on our checkout day. I'd love to take the Barretts to dinner one day and hear more about their history and family. Overall, I am 95% sure I'll be booking the Ranch for NAMM 2021 - it was a fantastic experience that I'd love to repeat! CJ Lewis

Lots of room with a great kitchen for cooking family dinners. Close to grocery stores and restaurants in El Modena. Great base for road cycling (and probably mountain biking too). We had 9 adults of 6 children staying ranging in age from 5 to 80. Indoors, the house offers three common social spaces in addition to the dining room and a sitting area in the upstairs master bedroom.

The house is huge, has tons of palaces to sit and talk or read and is loaded with cowboy memorabilia and antiques. It's got a horse path along the road, a huge back patio for entertaining and the master suite is amazing!

The home is a lovely, open space with a nice kitchen and inside or outside dining on a terrace via large sliding glass doors. My family spent most of their time in the kitchen, living room and terrace which were all near each other. We also have an infant baby so the parents and baby had a private room near a bathroom in another wing of the home which was very nice and quiet. And, of course there is the master bedroom suite which is great for coffee and tea with home made scones in the morning! Lovely, lovely! Thank you for a wonderful time!

The layout and spaciousness of this home worked very well for our group. The owner's daughter was on point with her communications and very kind. We enjoyed exploring the house and property, it has many old, antique items that tell stories. It was a solid house, good location for us, two of the girls walked the neighborhood one morning, met a neighbor on a horse and they were able to pet the horse. Having two sinks in the kitchen was convenient and the master bathroom and bedroom are oversized. Thank you Barrett Ranch for your hospitality, much appreciated.

Great location 20-30 min from Disney, newport, Laguna, Anaheim stadium. Also, really close to several neat parks with tons to do with family. Very unique property in an equestrian neighborhood and home has been built by the propiator and is literally like a cowboy museum. We had two families total of 9 people and there was a ton of space and could have slept 10 more!
