Het duurde heel erg lang om in te checken, wel 30 minuten. De Wifi deed het al helemaal niet, je kon niet inloggen. Het ontbijt was niet denderend, er was niet bijster veel keuze.

Property needs to be upgraded and get better cleaning. Beds sheets had hairs and inside shower tub too. Air quality was not good due to the dirty dusty carpet in room 220. The light labs in the between the beds did not work to connect a phone charger. It was not a pleasant stay.

Our room was large and comfortable but needed cosmetic upgrades. We could not use the shower because there was no way to turn the shower head on. There was a pipe for the water but no faucet on the pipe and no way to turn on the shower head. The mini fridge didn't work and the cover on the back of the toilet was not the right fit for the toilet. We spoke to the clerk at the desk who took our information and said the manager would contact us about getting a refund. The manager never contacted us. Glad we had only needed the room for one night as we were just passing through.

Overall good value if discounted.
It was fine. We were in the back of the hotel, and it is very near train tracks, so there was some noise to deal with. No elevators, but only 2 floors. Free breakfast was very good, including hot choices. Older property, but kept up reasonably well. We happened to have a discount that was a little more than half-off the walk-in rate, so a decent value for that amount.

Not worth the money.
Room has bugs in it. AC where plugged into outlet, outlet is pulled out of wall. Bath tub water dripping. Musty smell when opening door. Outlet/usb connection partially busted and one each of outlet/usb non working. Backup latch for security fastened but has been ripped off previously. Would not take off socks due to live bugs in room. Nice plastic shutters for window though for full privacy.

When I tried to enter my room the key wouldn't Thd door wasn't closed. It was alrwady opened. I pushed it open. My husband and I looked around in the room. Thankfully we didn't have any of our belongings in there. I told the desk attendant at checkout. She gave the card to call management.

We don't understand how Baymont rates as many stars as they have. The service was less than average, the a/c was not on in the room, and the refrigerator was unplugged. They were not ready for us to check-in even though we had reservations.

Property is older and has much more potential than it is given. Overall for what we needed it was good enough. Pros; Beds were clean, the AC was in working condition and it had hot and cold water for a shower. Cons; the room had visible dust and cobwebs, meaning they had been neglected for some time. The area has a lot of consistent humidity therefore rust I am sure is a constant battle, one that the property is losing. Rust on the window seals, the AC unit vents at first glance I was convinced it was something worse, but after a closer look, just a lot of different colors and stages of rust. Towels were clean but threadbare and mismatched. The pool had water in it but the sign said Pool Closed the whole time we were there. The water was clear, the only visible problem was leaves and a small amount of dirt on the bottom. Nothing to the customer's eyes that a little TLC could not have remedied. As stated above for our needs, a quick overnight on a 3 day drive to our destination.
