For the past 6 years my family has stayed at the Solterra Resort in the most amazing homes. This home had many issues and left us underwhelmed and disappointed because we were not able to fully utilize to property.
1. The home was dirty upon arrival. There were stains and marks everywhere. I took pictures and sent them to the property management the moment we arrived. Stains were on the couches and chair in the living-room area and the kitchen was not wiped down.
2. We called the property manager prior to booking and asked if there were TVs in all of the bedroom and was told "YES", Upon our arrival there were only 2 bedrooms that had TVs (the 2 queen master bedroom and the 2 twin kids room (not 2 queens). I contacted the property manager and was texted back. I brought up the TV situation and was told that the owner advised them that there were TVs in each room. Then I was informed that they would purchase and deliver a TV to us that never arrived. Once I inquired about the TV again, I was told that any purchase over $200 needed to owners approval. I asked they If I could be kept up to date but never received a reply back.
3. The rooms were set up not to be comfortable but to put as many guests in the room as possible. The only true master has 2 queens beds in it . It was complete waste of a master suite. The 2nd double queen room is actually a double twin room. The rooms are TINY, all with the exception of the "master" with the 2 queens. There weren't any dresses in the other rooms and only 1 night stand per room.
4. There weren't any HDMI cables to connect the TVs in the bedroom to the cable box. (we used one of our own and called mgnt.)
5. The sliding door that accesses the pool /patio are didn't lock. We had 3 small kids with us under the age of 7 and this was not safe nor did we feel safe knowing someone could just walk in through the back. ( fixed the next day)
6. There wasn't any outdoor lighting for the pool and patio. Again I have stayed in many homes in this community. All pools have had pool lighting for nighttime dips.
7. The pool didn't have pool depth markers. And we had no idea how deep the pool was in different areas.
8. The hot-tub didn't work. The switch for the hot-tub was hanging off of the walls. (Although it was reattached after our call, it never worked) DISAPPOINTED
Although the property manager responded quickly there was little to no effort getting our issues resolved. The beds were AMAZING.
