Thank you for the review. The house has two very large cans. One can is for the recycles and the other is for the garbage. The county picks up the both cans once per week. If you put the cans to the road on the required day then it should not be a problem. Unfortunately we have no control over that as this is a county pick up. When we say leave the house as you found it, it is implied nothing is broken, not moving furninture and things like this. We only ask that if you have time to start a load of laundry for the cleaner. We do not require you to do this though. With that said, we hope you enjoyed your stay and come back to see us again.

Thank you for your review on your recent stay with us. We will definitely speak with the cleaning crew on some of your points above. However we do have an inspector to check after the cleans too. I honestly never get complaints on the cleans of our homes. We have been using the same company for several years. I am happy to advise the owner of the decor comments...but the decor is as seen in the photos when you booked. The pool is professionally cleaned once per week and the house does have a skimmer net to collect debris in between cleans. I have checked our records and the other contact with had with you was regarding adding the pool heating...we do wish you would have mentioned your concerns to us then. With all of that said, we do hope you enjoyed your stay with us and come see us again.

We do not feel this is a fair review. This is an extremely nice home and we get nothing but great reviews on it each time. You contacted me about a spider and what you thought was roaches. You admitted you didnt even know what those were though. You also didnt inform us of any issues until noon on your check out day. You were granted a late check out and as a courtesy we did not charge you for the late check out. You claimed there was an infestation. If that was the case, then it wouldnt matter what time of day it was or who was around, you would see them. I went there with pest control that day and nothing was found. We do have scheduled pest prevention done on the homes and if something is found we call them out. They found nothing that you were stating. You stayed with us nearly a week and we never heard anything from you until after your scheduled check out time. We wish that if this was an issue during your stay that you would have contacted us so we could take care of any issues at that time. I will add that we have had nothing but rain on and off here for two weeks. So it would not be unheard of to see a "bug". We do not place blame but just want to deal with facts. You requested a full refund and that is just not in our eyes fair.

Thank you for your review. Yes it is customary for rental homes vs hotels to give you only a starting supply of the basics (toilet paper, paper towels, dish tabs, trash bags and soap). Spices are left behind if prior guests leave them but generally these type of things you will want to bring or buy when you are here.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately we could not have predicted that the lock box would fail. We are happy that we were able to get you as a timely manner. We took your call right away and headed straight over there which did take 40 minutes from where I was at that moment.

I have to say I am surprised you left this review. Your accusations are untrue. This is a VERY clean home and we nothing but great reviews on it time after time. The evening before your departure you called and asked for a late check out. I explained that this was not available as the home was a back to back and you must be out by 10am. At 10:30am you were still there and told the cleaner you were not leaving. I arrived to the home around noon only to find you still there. The items in the refrigerator were already removed by yourself. Only items left were in the freezer and they were 4 gas station soft drink cups. I did throw these away because an hour later as we started cleaning the house you still had not vacated the home. I explained the importance on leaving on time and you completely disregarded that. You didn't actually fully leave the home until after 2pm. Your children wrote on the bathroom cabinets with pen which you were able to remove this when I brought it to your attention. Also there was an attempt to hide the comforter in the master bedroom because someone defecated on it. We had to take this to the dry cleaner. Your claim that you left something behind in untrue. We told you that we found nothing as we were cleaning but another guest had arrived and we could not check until they departed. Upon that departure nothing was found. In the end I am not sure what you are trying to dispute. Even with everything said above here we did NOT charge you any extra for the late check out or the damage done to the comforter.

Thank you for your feedback. Usually 10 out of 10 times the guest gets exactly what they booked. However in rare instances we do have to relocate due to maintenance issues. This is what happened in your case. The homes are inspected before/after every guest but we can appreciate that somethings can be missed and do apologize for any inconveniences.
