Horrible place to stay. Will never stay with VHC at Storey Lake Resort again. The place was dirty. Stains and dirt on the carpet throughout the house. Rug in the living room had legos from previous guest. Also ants and dirt was under the rug. The bed in the master bedroom had glass in the sheets. The dryer had sand and filth in it. Despite the temperature outside being hot the pool was cold. With that being said the worst thing was the neighbors on each side of us. We have a 10 month old and a 8 year old. One neighbor you could hear running up and down the stairs all night. The other neighbor partied all night long past midnight every night playing loud music, singing karaoke, and smoking weed to the point where you could smell it on our patio. Called VHC’s emergency number and was told they only deal with things inside the unit, not outside and we would need to call the cops. We called the cops and they never came. We felt so helpless. We left a day early during the night because we couldn’t sleep and was so miserable. We booked on Orbitz. VHC gets their money and besides sending the check in link to get your code for the door. They do not deal with you after that. If VHC values their customers, we should be refunded some of our money. I have never written a review. The pictures may look nice, but this is the worst place we have ever stayed. The only good thing was the WiFi and TV.

Dear guest, Regarding the things you mentioned about the house (some dirty stuff) we were never told about it. If we knew you were feeling this way, we would've sent someone to the house to check on it for you. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done after the check out. Regarding the neighbors, what we told you was right: there's nothing that can be done about other guests staying in houses not managed by VHC. If they were our guests, of course we would've talked to them, but the right thing to do is always calling the police (if you're staying with VHC or not). I am sorry you feel this way, but it's not totally fair you giving us this score for something we have no control over. Hope to have you staying with us again in the future. VHC Team

The property was not what was shown on Expedia. It showed a house and it was connected units. The pool was smaller than what was shown. The dishes were dirty. The inclusive item of a small laundry soap were not there. The location was great for Universal and Disney. We could not check in early and when we got to the house with sleeping children we could not get in with our code to the property. We had to wait outside until they could reach someone to give us a code for the hide a key. The code was never redone we carried a single key the rest of the trip. It was too expensive for what we got. It was nothing that was pictured and explained on Expedia.

This was our first time staying at this property. The grounds of the property was nice and clean. The inside of the property Is nice but not really clean. There was satins and the carpet wasn’t clean.. no toilet paper we had to go to Walmart to buy some also wash cloths.. The living room Tv was not loud I feel like if I’m paying that type of money, it could of been way better

Hi Carlos! We do not understand why this review, since all of your calls and messages were promptly replied. Our team went to the property as soon as you called on the third day of your stay informing that the house was extremely dirty, checked on your complaints and saw that since the house was actually being occupied by your group on the last few days, it was pretty clean and had only your group's stuff around it. Cleanings during your stay are not included on the rental, and every issues must be informed to us in the first 24 hours of the stay - as it states on the rental terms. Still, nothing out of the ordinary was found. We also had an issue with the group not respecting the check out time, and fortunately didn't have to take extreme measures so the group would vacant the property - still, with the delay of your check out, the cleaning team had their whole schedule backed up and the property couldn't be ready on time for the next check out. We apologize any bad impressions you may have had, but would like to reafirm that you were assisted on a timely manner and a few of the communications were more assertive due to the non compliance with the house rules.

A éviter absolument les photos ne sont absolument pas ce que vous aurez, décoration horrible, lits minuscules, 6 chaises au lieu de 8 Inadmissible et quand on le signale, ils ne font absolument rien pour trouver une solution. Heureusement Expédia nous a dédommagé mais vacances gâchées. On ne comprend pas comment Expédia continue a les vendre !!!

Hi Valérie! What you are saying is not true. As we explained for you several times, when you book a house through Expedia you only guarantee the number of rooms and the community (in your case a townhome with 4 bedrooms at Storey Lake). Which means, that the house you see in the pictures is not necessarily the house that you'll stay, as we use a collage of pictures from several properties as an example. You stayed in a townhome with 04 bedrooms at Storey Lake - as you booked. This information is very clear when you book a house with us. We are very sorry that you gave us a such poor review only because you didn't read the Terms and Conditions before confirm your reservation.

The property was nice clean and modern. We had plenty of space, with a well equipped kitchen. The kids loved having a good wifi connection and smart tvs. Having 2 bathrooms was great. The location is brilliant for disney (10 mins) seaworld and unoversal ( under 30 mins). The resort also had a brilliant pool area with plenty to keep the kids entertained and for us to relax after a long day in the parks. We would recommend this property and resort, and cant wait to visit again.

The property supplies kitchen utensils and has multiple TVs which I like. It is close to a Super Target and multiple restaurants. I can hear traffic from my room and the floors were dirty. Overall, the apartment room was comfortable and clean! I would recommend to a friend.

Spacious relaxing home close to lazy river.
The house is equipped with a private pool and hot tub and fully furnished for all of your needs. Close to Disney Parks, attractions, rides and malls. Various restaurants and shops in the area. Definitely would recommend it and also return!

Spacious home but was extremely dirty.
Stayed in the home and it was beautiful. I kept smelling a strange smell and it was blood and poop on the toliets. Litterally when we walked in. I called customer service and they sent someone out about a hour later. She came and cleaned the bathroom but the smell was still very strong. Come to find out someone urinated in the shower curtain. She went to Target and returnd a couple hours later. The next day the bathroom flooded ruining a lot of our things that was downstairs and up. Whe I called customer service no one came for 4 hours. They kept trying to get us to leave but we didnt becuase I didnt feel comfortable. My mother laptop got water in it becuSe the water came from upstairs. The cable in 2 tv's did not work. The lady tried fixing it but she really didnt know how. My mother in law slipped on the floor before we knew were the water was. On top of on the last day my son picked up a piece of glass fom under the couch. (hes 8 months) I contacting them to see if we could get some type of refund or something becuase at this point on over it. They told me no and said they will give me 10% off my next stay. Needless to say ill never get that and im currently in the process of starting court action. It was a great community and nice home they just dont know how to communicate with their customers. I would say stay at your own risk.

This resort looks like the house and really comfort, but service is really bad. When I called to service, I couldn't understand what they said due to their phone was bad or something wrong. Also it does not have any extra bath tissue and trash bag.

Hi, thank you for your feedback! Sorry to hear about the bad connection. We are working to solve this issue. In regards to the other items, this is a self-catering type of stay. We only supply the first use of toilet paper, towel paper, garbage bags and amenities but guest will have to replace for their use. Hope to have the chance to host you again!

Billederne var ikke tilsvarende og huset var slidt og nusset, samtidig var det ikke oplyst, at man skulle betale 50$ pr. dag for opvarmet pool.

I loved it!!
The place is a dream. Everything is so clean and impecable. Makes you want to stay and live there. Super close to all major theme parks. Toiletries and shampoo and conditioner. I would definetely recommend this place and rent again myself.

I absolutely loved my stay. The rooms were very clean. The house was spacious and fully furnished. I would definitely be booking again.

Nice equipped condo
The first condo we were sent to had a broken air conditioner. We were finally sent to another condo with no problems. Having multiple beds and baths was great. Only the pillows needed upgrade. The kitchen was fully equipped. The outdoor area had a small pool with lounge chairs. This is a newer development and dose not have a front desk like a hotel. I knew this coming in. The security guards at the entrance are polite and professional, but only have limited information. As of this date, the large pool complex hadn't opened yet, but looks great

Condo was located 10 miles from original address, no Wi-Fi, hidden fees
The address and exterior pictures are of an address located 10 miles to the northeast. The actual rental property was located further from Disney and downtown Orlando and caused us to have excessive travel times during our stay. Wi-Fi never worked. We called the first and second day and were told that someone would come by. No one ever came by. The ad says cleaning fee but when it is time to pay, the mgmt company says that is an error and charge more. This place is a scam. I checked the advertised address in Google Maps and the images on Google matched the advertised exterior photos. After you pay, the management company switches the address to a condo with the same floor plan but a yellow exterior located 10 miles away (in the middle of nowhere). Why not show the yellow exterior in the advertised photos? Because if you researched via Google Maps you would know something was off. No paper towels. One roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. No gas in the grill's propane tank. They charge extra $ to heat the pool. They never got the Wi-Fi to work. They mislead intentionally about the location. DO NOT STAY WITH THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
