"Good hotel, especially for the price! Room is big but the bathroom is a bit small. There was a problem with the radiator. It was turning on even though the knob was set to off and it was too warm to need heating. Told the front desk twice and the woman said the heating shouldn’t be turning on and would get maintenance to look. Maintenance took the temperature knob off but the radiator still came on and was very hot to the touch. Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices, hot and cold."

"Wat een fijne, ruime kamer! Het leek wel een appartement met de service van een hotel. Prima bedden voor ons allevier, een prima badkamer en een ruime keuken die van alle gemakken voorzien was. Leuke buurt waar vandaan we Londen prima konden verkennen."

"We had a very nice stay at CitizenM. There was an error with the incheck at the beginning, they gave us a free drink and made it no problem to leave our stuff at the Hotel so we could explore London in the meantime. As soon as my boyfriend had a low blood sugar it was no problem for them to give us a chocolate bar as soon as possible, also for free. We wanted to give them a tip but they only can take cash, we didn't have that on us unfortunatly. The guy told us that it didn't matter at all because him hearing that the team did a good job was enough and to be honest, i think he really meant it. I can say that i love CitizenM, their 24/7 open bar, their staff, the bus and the metro right around the corner, everything really was amazing."

"Alles was goed geregeld, helaas was het ontbijt iedere dag hetzelfde en waren sommige broodjes soms aangebrand. Dit hoeft je niet tegen te houden om langs te komen, want voor de rest was alles goed geregeld"

"Really cozy room, very nice location, bathroom was clean, kitchen utilities as well. Only thing was that the stairs in the building up to the room were a little unfortunate and very narrow. That wasn’t a problem for us but it is worth mentioning."

"Virgin Hotel London-Shoreditch is a beautifully decorated hotel, chique yet also warm and cozy. The room was nice, and the bathroom was amazing. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxed stay at the hotel, and I can definitely see ourselves returning for a future trip. There’s two (minor) points of improvement that we could think of. First, the swimming pool seemed to be closed off to general hotel guests on Sunday afternoon due to a ‘private party’. Going into London for just a weekend, with temperatures of around 30 degrees Celsius, we were not expecting the pool to be unavailable like this. We eventually secured a spot by talking to the reception, mentioning we just wanted a quick dip given the warm weather. They agreed and were kind enough to help us secure our entrance into the pool area - thank you Kaisha! Perhaps we missed the announcement of the party, but we would think that the swimming pool comes with the hotel and thus should be available to its guests. Another point of improvement is the breakfast service at the rooftop bar, which was a bit slow and unorganized. Of course, the unusual hot weather circumstances were not a helping factor here. This being said, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly! To conclude, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Virgin Hotel London-Shoreditch, be it with these two minor points of improvements."
