Mooie karakteristieke villa en Trullo in Olive Grove in Ostuni met privézwembad

Dit vakantiehuis heeft het karakter van stenen gewelfde kamers en conische trullo, maar met het gemak van een onlangs gerenoveerd, goed geïsoleerd ontwerp. Zes 5-sterrenbeoordelingen op TripAdvisor. Zeer goede onbeperkte wifi inbegrepen. Moderne badkamers en keuken met professioneel fornuis. Kijk uit vanaf de veranda boven het zwembad naar de Aloes en olijfbomen, of vanaf het dakterras, ideaal voor avondfeesten, naar de Adriatische Zee of de prachtig verlichte Carovigno en het kasteel. Zeven minuten rijden naar Ostuni, de witte stad, "de parel van Puglia" met zijn prachtige oude stad om overdag te verkennen of te genieten in de warme nachtlucht. Ontspan in oude bars, of de verfijnde moderniteit versmolten tot de massieve steen. Carovigno heeft veel te bieden, van gastronomische tot uitstekende restaurants met fantastisch eten en lage prijzen. Italianen kiezen hier voor vakantie. De veranda heeft een buitenkeuken, populair in Zuid-Italië, en we hebben twee barbecues. De lokale vis, vlees en groenten zijn uitzonderlijk, zodat je later naar de stad kunt gaan om te relaxen of gewoon de zon kunt zien ondergaan aan het zwembad.
Villa Acacia ligt tussen Ostuni, Carovigno en de stranden met alle gemak dat het biedt om rond te reizen en naar de stranden enz. En geen kostbare vakantietijd te verspillen.

9 day May holiday in Puglia

To start with: Will is the best host you can imagine. He anwers / helps you with all you questions and even more. We arrived on a bank holiday, shops closed, but Will made sure we did not run out of food and drinks . The location is perfect quiet and only a few km to Ostuni. The pool was clean and even the first week of May had a good temperature to swim. Since we there with 2 couples and one brought their 2 kids it was perfect that the property had 2 buildings, a 1 and a 2 bedroom building. We can recommend this please and would sure return for a next Puglia holiday

Heerlijke vakantie in Apulie

Mijn zus en ik, samen met onze vier kinderen, hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het vakantieverblijf van Will. De omgeving is prachtig en op fietsafstand van de stadjes Ostuni en Carovigno. Ook het strand is met een mooie fietstocht te bereiken. Will is een uitstekende gastheer, heel attent en behulpzaam. Kortom, een prima bestemming voor een weekje echt Italië.

Excellent stay

We had avery pleasant stay in the house. Will is a very pleasant and likelable person ensuring you have a great time. Any question on whatsoever, nice places, restaurants, shops, ask and Will has tips for you. We liked the house and its environment, you are surrounded by just nature and nature's sound. For breakfast we enjoyed getting freshly baked bread at SuperFamila in Ostuni. Restaurants we appreciated are Casa Mia and La Cantina in Carovigno a lot. Try the antipasta at La Cantina!

Heerlijk huis met veel voorzieningen en fantastische gastheer

Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Will onze host had aan alles gedacht. Goede ligging t.o.v bezienswaardigheden en voorzieningen (winkels). Vlakbij Ostuni en strand. Lekker zwembad. Zeer gastvrije en behulpzame host. Voelden ons erg welkom en hebben een hele fijne week gehad.

Beautiful place, Great host! Top holiday!

We had a wonderful time at villa acacia. We stayed for one week with our 2 kids from almost 1 year old and 4 year old and with the grandparents. Everything we needed was available. Will was a super host, who provided us with wonderful suggestions and tips for great food, local events etc. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a nice and relax holiday.

Our stay exceeded our expectations.As others have written Will is an outstanding host,who goes above and beyond what most hosts do. He responded to emails quickly, stocked the kitchen with food, gave advice on restaurants and beaches. Even brought us fresh baked goods one morning.The property itself is wonderful. Each bedroom is quite spacious, and the one living room area is larger than it appears in photos.Yes there is no dining room, but not a problem as there is little rainfall. The pool is great, surrounded by olive trees.Will is still working on the plantings so a few side areas look unfinished.We stayed with our two adult children very comfortably.We would return in a heartbeat

The most wonderful host ever!

The property was WONDERFUL, comfortable, in a very peaceful setting, but more importantly, our host, Will , was simply THE BEST!!! From the most informative report on possible activities and suggestions in the area (received at booking) to the gracious invitation to accompany him to Ostuni for drinks and to show us the magic that envelops Ostuni at nightfall, it made our visit to this area SUPER SPECIAL. Beautiful stay!!

Our stay was a wonderful and a very memorable experience! The Villa was so authentic and we really felt part of Ostuni… Will is amazing! His communication was incredible and his hospitality equaled that 👍 He even gave us all a gift of the best olive oil freshly pressed from the olive trees which surround the villa!! Would definitely recommend a stay here

Fabulous

We had a wonderful stay at Will’s property. He was a very attentive host and left no stone unturned to make our stay a big success. Will provided practical help with many things throughout our stay, and was a mine of helpful local information too. The property is perfectly clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. It was lovely to be able to use both the Trullo house and the bigger house for our party and the communal areas were great spaces to be able to get together. The pool was a bit chilly in late October (as Will told us it would be), but it was lovely to have the opportunity to use it. It was such a pleasure to be able to relax in the tranquility of the land of Will’s estate, with the olive trees and oranges and lavender around us. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough for a wonderful holiday experience in beautiful Puglia.

Outstanding

Our stay was exceptional. The host went of their way to ensure we had information about the area with suggestions on places to go, how to get there and options for dining and shopping. Communication was outstanding. We were greeted on arrival. The villa was beautiful. It was beyond our expectations. The property was updated, decorated tastefully, well maintained and squeaky clean. There were so many thoughtful details such as extra towels, candles, wine, cheese, munchies, the list is endless including delicious cakes for birthday celebrations. The villa was in an olive grove and among almond, fig, pomegranate and a variety of citrus trees. It had an herb garden and a variety of interesting plants. Every room had its own unique charm. We enjoyed the peace, quiet and safe environment. It was a short drive into Ostuni, neighbouring villages and markets and a perfect base for touring Puglia. Thank you again for the wonderful experience. It was beyond our expectations and we loved it!

Peaceful retreat

With a group of 4 friends, we stayed here for a week at the end of August. Will was an excellent host, provided us a stocked refrigerator so we didn’t have to rush out at the end of a long travel day, showed us around Ostuni and was available to answer any questions and help us with good restaurants, things to see, etc. The property is so tranquil after being in busy tourist sites during the day. We made use of the pool and all the outdoor spaces. It was a little tricky to find on our first try, but once found was an easy and short drive to Ostuni. Would highly recommend staying at this property; if I find myself back in Puglia I won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Unique experience

Villa Acacia is surrounded by olive trees. From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed and immersed in Puglia. The owner's generosity was extensive. It is most unusual to arrive at a holiday rental with more than the basics but in this case we had everything from pasta and sauces to a selection of drinks, eggs to get us started. The personal touch of home made marmalade and local pastries delivered to us was the icing on the cake. We felt spoilt. The pool was perfect in size and temperature. The roof terrace superb in the evening for meals with sea views in the distance and a cooling breeze. We liked having a sitting room outside as its so different from being at home. We are so glad we opted for a trulli and what must have been an exhaustive restoration process is evident. Ostuni is remarkably close as is the supermarket but far enough away to feel you are still in a rural sanctuary. Ostuni is stunning and is a labyrinthe of cobbled streets whch we enjoyed exploring. Will even offered to show us around. Will's recommendation of Spiaggia Pozzelli and were not disappointed. Early morning swims in the crystal clear waters were so therapeutic. We returned to the pool in the afternoon and back to the beach for an evening swim when the beach was quieter. The weather was unseasonably hot so our grand plans of touring local villages didn't materialise but it was no hardship spending days by the pool relaxing, picking grapes, lemons and figs from the trees surrounding it.

This was a heavenly break with teenagers. Wi-fi, pool, roof terrace and their own bathrooms. Kids happy equals parents happy. Ostuni is beautiful. And Will was a fantastic host, being on hand to help or guide. Throughly recommend!

We had a wonderful 10 days and Will was the perfect host. The Villa was very clean and comfortable and the pool was wonderful. Will gave great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and also shared local information. We arrived lat3 to a well stocked fridge which meant we didn’t have to rush out to get shopping. July was wonderful weather, got hotter throughout the stay but there was a lovely breeze by the pool. I would thoroughly recommend the Villa and area. Th@nk you for a great stay.

Peaceful property amongst the olive trees.

Stayed last week with husband only so plenty of space. We loved the quiet and space after a busy week touring about. We found the owner charming and generous with time, advice and he supplied many things to make our stay easy eg wine, water and some basic groceries which was kind. The place was very clean and comfortable. We chose to sleep in the truli area and just used the well equipped main kitchen to cook etc. There is great outside space where spent most of our time - covered sofas under the arches which we found lovely to sit on during the day and evening. There are Boules, table tennis, bikes to use if inclined. We swam everyday in the pool although the water is still a little cool in May. There is also a roof terrace for groups to dine from with great views - you can even see the sea in the distance. The property is minutes from Ostuni and a few other towns Carovigno and Cisiternino. All worth a visit. Positioned well for day trips all over Puglia. We also discovered some of the local beaches. 75 min drive from Bari airport. Closer to Brindisi I suspect. We hope to return with our sons one day. This is a well equipped property that would suit families or a group of up to 6 adults. There is another place next door which you could also rent if contact the owner for larger groups.

Villa Acacia - Excellent

Our group (5 adults) had an excellent stay (7 days May 2024) at this villa. The villa was clean, well equipped (beds/pillows very comfortable) and in a great location for doing day trips exploring the Puglia area. The best part of our stay at this villa was our host Will. He went way above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! His helpful tips on what to visit and where to eat were greatly appreciated. Will built this villa from the ground up so knows the villa inside out. We felt safe at night knowing Badger (Will’s dog) was guarding the property. The property doesn’t require guarding but don’t tell Badger. Thank you so much Will for an enjoyable week!
