'Ouidah is my favorite place in the whole world and this hotel offers a peaceful getaway that I would choose over and over again. I recommend the sea view rooms, though the lakeview are nice as well. 'I stayed here for my birthday. It’s a beautiful well maintained hotel. The staff are all great. There is a surprising lack of hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom, only one hook so it’s impossible to reuse towels even though that is encouraged for environmental reasons. The tasting menu at L’Ami was fantastic. '

'The hotel is nicely renovated with comfortable rooms. The price level is relatively high and the service in the hotel does not match the price level at all. One great lady at the reception, for the rest lots of guys in suits doing nothing and unable to help out in peak periods. Food is mediocre and the cleaning crew do their work during peak (breakfast, lunch etc.) periods. Was there for two nights and got two very annoying phone calls on what time I was planning to check out. '
