'Nice hotel with great rooms. We stayed in room 9 and the only downside was the view from the room (backside of the hotel with a view on a messy parking and the backside of other companies) and the lack of chromecast on the TV. The AC in the room wasn’t entirely clear on how to operate it.'

'This suited us perfectly. Two parents and a 13 yr old. It was warm and cozy, there's a sofa in one room, 2 chairs in the other and a dining table in the kitchen. WiFi was fast and free. We were in the lower apartment so we did hear walking about from the apartment upstairs, but the people staying above us were quiet so it wasn't an issue for us. 'Great central place to stay - we were a group of friends. Ideal for exploring the area and nice to have a living space to relax in. Breakfast reasonable - as a Finn I found it disappointing in lack of Finnish food. Staff really friendly and helpful. Also recommend the local taxi company to reach everywhere with a van for 8. '

'Voor een familie kamer voor 4 verwacht je wel een beetje bewegingsruimte. Het tafeltje was eigenlijk teveel toen de slaapbank als bed dienst moest doen. 4 sterren is overrated. Misschien door alles wat ze aanbieden maar de kamer zeker niet. Simpel en schreeuwend duur. Ontbijt is gemiddeld. Ik heb heel vaak beters gehad en zeker geen ruim €400 per nacht waard.'

'Hotel Aakenus has a good location , friendly and helpful staff . Rooms are basic but clean . Bathroom however is under average and urgently in need of renovation. With only 1,5 sqm including shower , toilet and sink it is impossible to keep the bathroom dry and properly shower. Breakfast is good , some fresh bread , eggs , yoghurt and fruit . For a short layover the hotel is acceptable but definitely overpriced. For these standards a budget of 100-130 euro per night would be fine but no 270-300...
