Hi Scott, thank you so much for your feedback on our property! First of all I want to apologize for the issues with gnats as well as the unlocked door. Staying in a rental full of gnats would have frustrated anyone and I completely understand you disappointment. Unfortunately this has been a struggle with most of our Ouray properties throughout the past months - they will show up from one day to the next! While we do inspect each unit before check-in, they can accumulate so fast that the inspector might not have seen them yet. Thankfully, this issue seems to have passed now :) Regarding the door - that must have been scary! While this has not happened before, we looked into the cause to make sure this does not happen to another guest. The door is locking fine now! I also understand your frustration with the extra app. Our properties connect with multiple booking sites and this helps us assure all guests get the information they need, no matter where they book! We do hope you stay with us again despite the issues you experienced and give us a chance to show you the quality stay we offer!
