Very nice hotel with amazing amenities. It has been a very long time since I have been to a hotel that truly offered a full breakfast. Only thing I would have to say, is we had a desk chair in our room that was about to fall apart. There was some of the pink stuff in the corners of the shower, but other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Hotel had the incorrect dates, took an hour to check in, our room had old ranch in the fridge so clearly wasn’t cleaned, scratch marks and dirt all over the room, worse part was when we checked out they said we still owed money and needed to pay more before we left!! I paid a month ago in full. They tried to tell us the rate was different now and we needed to pay more. Took over a half hour to check out. Also we tried calling the hotel many times before we checked in and no one ever answered. Awful experience.

This property was a very nice stay! It was convenient to I-35, had close access to restaurants & shopping. We enjoyed the included breakfast. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t get the opportunity to use it

The housekeeping staff entered my room without knocking while I was naked. Thank goodness the clasp was over the lock and prevented it from opening all of the way. I yelled and my fiancé ran to the door just for the woman to ask if we needed anything before checkout. We told her no and she left. This is completely unacceptable, no one should be entering our room before check out, let alone without knocking. A very scary and unpleasant experience, will never stay at Wyndham hotel or recommend one to anyone. The front desk was informed of the incident and we hope in the future no one has the same experience.

Usually you receive a confirmation from when making a reservation via an OTA and it will state what type of bed is being offered. My sincere apology for a less than perfect experience.

My card was declined when checking into the hotel. The employee manually keyed in my credit card information and according to my credit company the credit card expiration date was entered incorrectly. Employee was rather rude and made me felt uncomfortable knowing very well that my card should not be declined which was confirmed when I called my credit card company. Unsure why there would not be a way to swipe/tap my card with the technology we have these days. I used to stay here one day every year for a vendor event. I will bring my business elsewhere next year.

Hi Lisa,I am the Front Office Manager, I am so sorry you were treated rudely by my front desk representative. That is not how we are to treat people. We were having some issues that day with cards declining and yes she should have run it electronically. She is fairly new and did not know the process to remove your card and reenter it. She knows the process now. Again I am very sorry you were inconvenienced and made to feel uncomforatble in any way.

Expensive, but clean & upgraded
I'm not sure what the negative reviews are referencing as far as the building goes because the lobby is beautiful and obviously redone recently. Pool and hot tub areas were very clean. Room was also upgraded with a new AC unit that worked better than mine at home (this was SUPER important to me because I sleep super hot). I did stay on the first floor so maybe this floor was renovated first? Idk, but no problems what so ever. Front desk reps were very nice. Parking can be sparse on busy weekends but not bad.Only downside would be that it's over priced for a Baymont, but seems to be one of the better choices in Owatonna. Plus is also there's an Applebee's across the parking lot if that's your thing lol.

Stayed here 5 days with my adult children. Great customer service. Breakfast was good, wine/beer at night, pool/hot tub. Restaurants close by close to the interstate. I’ll stay again for sure.

The person who checked us in was new to the system and that process took a long time. Also, she could not verify the rate and that was problematic. She was apologetic, but the process took way too long. Overall the room was just uncomfortably hot, even with the thermostat set low and a fan that I had brought. It was just way way too hot.

We had a last minute plumbing issue in our apt, so we needed to be away from home for a night. This place is always our "get away go-to" we always get the jucuzzi room, and are always very pleased, and very relaxed. When we checked in tho, the lady at the front desk was friendly until she saw people that kept walking in behind us and it seemed as tho she was getting a bit frustrated. Other than that it's always a great place to stay.

Gab Fest.
We had a family reunion for the fair. It was excellent to be able to sit in the lobby or outside to gab with one another for hours and hours. Breakfast opened at 5:30. It was the standard fare but "good enough". Getting to the fair took 10 minutes. It was very quiet.
