'Nice modern apartment. Conveniently located. Reasonable price. Had read reviews about it being noisy with the rooms being close to local pubs, however, we found it to be very quiet during our stay. Overall excellent!'

'Well thought out cottage design very well presented but testing for size - just an extra 5% of space would yielded 20% increase in convenience and enjoyment. Hosts and neighbours are excellent. Parking is unusual but workable. As a couple (one Aussie and one Aussie born in Yorkshire) we really enjoyed our time at this cottage and would highly recommend it. Walk to village is 10 minutes and huge number of attractions within 40 mins.'

'The one bedroom, ensuite room was great. It was lovely to be able to eat home cooked meals at a dining table and sit on a lounge suite to watch some television. The kitchen is fully equipped with all cutlery, crockery, pots and pans and an under-bench fridge and freezer. Unfortunately the dishwasher wasn’t working but wasn’t an issue. There is also a washing machine which came in handy. Lovely sized bedroom with a good sized ensuite. Parking was off road and out the front of the property. The...

'Nice stay. Lovely and Clean. Beautiful surroundings. Driveway is very steep and the underfloor heating downstairs would never turn off leaving it very warm.
Great stay though and would happily return.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic, right in the centre and so convenient for getting around. The apartment was lovely and clean, and we felt very comfortable during our stay.
There were just a couple of small things worth mentioning — the fan in the bedroom was a little noisy, and the window didn’t block out all the light in the morning. But these were minor things, and overall we had a really lovely stay. We’d happily stay here again!'

'NEEDS IMPROVING. The location was fantastic, however there are several things that need work and whoever cleans the flat would know this. The freezer section of the refrigerator is one solid block of ice, pushing open the freezer door. It's so bad that a person needs to make sure the fridge door is closed.
The shower hose and drain need attention. The drain gets plugged immediately.
The bed is the absolute WORST bed I have ever slept on. I bet the mattress is several decades old. You feel...

'The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity.
For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean.
The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through...
