'Charming, elegant and quiet. Our spacious room was very comfortable and the shower was one of the best we’ve ever enjoyed. We opted for the hot lunch with is across the street at Aunt Sophie’s. Get the large cappuccino. Great location, setting and value. '

'The view is AMAZING! It’s a corner unit so both bedrooms also have windows with a view. Watching the sunset and wind surfers from the balcony was a highlight of the trip. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything you need. Secure parking, 2 full baths, Netflix. Very responsive host. No hot tub though despite the listing saying there was. I would definitely stay here again.'

'Erg leuk verblijf. Zeer aardige en gastvrije gastvrouw (Lynn) en gastheer (Mick). Heel gunstig gelegen op loopafstand van restaurants, winkels, galleries van Franschhoek. Zeer rustig, eigen afgesloten parkeerterrein. Twee ingangen: één aan de Wilhelminastraat en één aan de voorkant, recht tegenover het Hugenotenmonument. Elke dag veel verse spullen in de koelkast (o.a. brood en kaas voor ontbijt), gratis Nespresso, gratis wifi. Mooi zwembad.'

'Recently returned from a 3 night stay at these apartments and we had a great stay in apartment 6. It was modern, clean and bang in the centre of Franschhoek town. The check in was the quickest ever and room was ready for us despite arriving early. The facilities were great and bed comfy - didn’t want to leave the place and wouldn’t hesitate to book when visiting again 😀 '

'Das Haus ist sehr groß, jedoch sind gewissen Räume eine Erneuerung bedürftig. Vor allem die Gartenmöbel. Dazu ist das Haus voll von Privatsachen, sogar das Kühlfach.'

'Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...

'It's a nice property regards to location as your right in town centre and close to the river bike paths. The outdoor pool area was very relaxing with the afternoon sun. The only things I would change would be to have a few extra amenities in the room such as: Blow dryer Iron Robe and slippers It says it has floor heating but wasn't shown how to use it and the tile floors were freezing in the winter. It would have been nice during check-in to be given some ideas of what was going on in the...

'Wonderful place to stay and very secure. Front staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with and accommodated us with an early check-in as the room was vacant which really helped us tremendously. It was perfect for our needs (business), however it may be a bit noisy from the traffic if you're on holiday and would like to sleep in late.'

The gardens and farm are not a performance - at over 2000 acres and something like 700 staff they somehow manage to seamlessly blend luxury with genuine production, and the variety is extraordinary. There is true vision behind this project.'
