Great spot for a family vacation!
This home was exactly as advertised, and we couldn't be happier with our stay. It was clean, quiet, and close to every place we wanted to explore. The beds were super comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our family of 4 and our dog. As a family who loves to cook, we found everything we needed in the fully stocked kitchen. If we find ourselves in Pacific Beach in the future, we would absolutely stay here again.

Thanksgiving getaway
Great spot for our out-of-town family to stay over Thanksgiving! Responsive and friendly host, lots of amenities. Close walk to town and to the beach (5-10 minutes). Peace of mind that it is out of the tsunami hazard zone . 😅

Great Beach Cottage
Perfect get away..a nice walk for coffee in the morning, a fabulous sandy beach also a walk away..or..just stay in this cozy beach cottage that has absolutely everything you could ever need AND nicely decorated. Be a tourist at Ocean Shores or fancy special dinner out at Seabrook..or..stay here and cook in a better supplied kitchen than mine and eat on one of two decks, play games, sit outside by the fire pit and just really enjoy yourself.(side note that should be mentioned..the bed is very comfortable..that can be hard to find with some rentals)

Wonderful beach stay
We loved this house. It was the perfect size for our family. The beds were comfortable. The house was clean. We actually really liked the location and felt it was better than staying down in the cluster of houses in "downtown" Pacific Beach. The drive in beach access is so close to the house! We couldn't figure out how to start the "Mr. Coffee" machine, but that was our problem I'm sure. We would stay again. Thanks!

Breath of fresh air
Last minute weekend at the beach was just what we all needed. Home is cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Went razor calming, watched movies and played games. Host was great to work with.

Relaxing weekend by the beach.
We enjoyed a relaxing weekend with family. The house was cute and clean and the price, fair. There were two things that could have made the trip even more enjoyable; the house had a strange odor and we couldn't find where it was coming from, and we found the instructions and the remote for the fireplace but we couldn't get it to work. This was disapointing because it was one thing I was looking forward to while staying at the beach in January lol. Other then that, the place waw comfortable and I would stay again.

Great location in Pacific Beach
Sand Bucket Cottage was a comfortable and convenient place to stay along the Washington coast. Near to Moclips, Ocean Shores, and Seabrook. Very dog friendly, comfortable beds, and all the amenities.

Wonderful Beach House
This rental is just as described. Very cute and cozy. Worked well for our family of 4. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more! The proximity to the beach access and town is ideal. We really enjoyed our stay.

Girls Trip
The Sand Bucket Cottage is a cute little get away place. It is fully stocked with everything you may need. We had plenty of room for 4 adults with two complete bathrooms and places to sleep. The cottage is cared for but it needs a good, deep cleaning. The outside front deck is a beautiful spot. Replacing the worn out broken furniture and dealing with the overgrown weeds would really make it more appealing. Overall, it is a nice reasonably price place to stay.

Great value and location
We had a good stay with a group of 6 adults and 2 kids. The location is great and has everything you need to settle in and enjoy the coast. The value was great for a group that size. Our only complaint was some odors - which may just be from previous guests. The main area smelled a little off, maybe from a pet. The room with bunk beds smelled of cigarette smoke. We now have to wash any items that were in the room to get the smell out.

Cute little quiet cottage
This was a wonderfully idyllic cozy and quaint place to stay. We were 2 families (4 adults 4 kids) and the space worked for us. The town is very quiet (not a lot going on) but the cottage is so close to the beach where we drove on the beach to do razor clamming. Fun times!

The property was cute and in a nice location about a mile from direct beach access. It was clean enough, but it was NOT hotel clean. It needed to be deep cleaned (which clearly had not been done in a while). There were minor maintenance issues all around the property, (front gate needed repair, chips on drawers and baseboards, etc.) that seem to be a sign that the property is not maintained to a high quality standard. I would suggest the property owners do a walk through and make a maintenance and cleaning list before the summer season so their guests are not disappointed in the quality of their stay. I would also recommend putting the property on a regular deep cleaning schedule. Turn cleaning is not enough to keep a property at a high cleanliness standard.

Everything was perfect!
The sand bucket cottage was a great place to stay! It has such a welcoming cozy atmosphere. My kids found the puzzles and toys right away and felt right at home. Also the location was perfect for us! Close to the quiet beach and not too far from ocean shores if your into the busier type beach. We really loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

Absolute gem of a cottage
- The cottage is spotless, and felt very warm. One can instantly tell that the owners place a lot of love and pride in their property. Also, the beds were very comfortable - my back and neck approved . - Colleen, the owner, is a dream to correspond with. Answers all questions promptly. She goes above and beyond to make sure her guests enjoy their stay. - Location is great. A walk from the beach. it's quiet and near a cute little town. We LOVED our stay so much that my 8 and 3 year old refused to leave. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

The location was great and we enjoyed our stay. The house is decorated very well, however, it needs a deep cleaning. There were cobwebs on light fixtures and above curtains. The floors need to be mopped, the baseboards were dirty and the couches smelled like dog.

Excellent ouse for gathering. Great access to beach and nearby parks. We had a great stay. It was cumbersome, however, to do laundry, sheets and towels, and also get family bathed and out by 11:00 on day of departure.

Adorable cottage
From the moment we stepped thru the front door this place charmed us again and again with so many nice touches—both in style and substance. Very comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, laundry onsite. Great use of the space, fitting a dining area, breakfast bar, living room, 2 full bathrooms and 2 nice bedrooms into a relatively small footprint. Felt very spacious for us 4 adults and a dog. Colleen was a terrific host—very responsive to all of our communications/questions. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful Location and Property
We had a wonderful stay at the Sand Bucket Cottage this past week. The cottage is perfectly located in a quiet spot and is within walking distance to town. We also appreciated how close it was to drive onto the beach to enjoy some time flying kites and exploring. The kitchen was well stocked with the pots and dishes we needed to prepare most of our meals while staying. We loved having the electric kettle to heat up water for tea and hot chocolate to warm up after being on the beach. It was a short drive to Seabrook to enjoy really great pizza at Frontager's, too. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful cottage with us!

Charming
This beach cottage was just what my daughter and I were looking for to de-stress and do work and school from somewhere other than home. It’s pretty and very comfortable. You can tell the owners have put a lot of effort and love into it. The neighborhood is quiet and an easy walk or drive to the beach. It felt like a home away from home. Communication with owners was great.
