Dit charmante lichte en vrolijke huis aan de waterkant en stappen naar een zandstrand met drie slaapkamers met uitzicht op de oceaan allemaal boven en twee volledige badkamers, een op elke verdieping. De ruime master suite biedt een panoramisch uitzicht, een queensize bed, tv en een eigen balkon, perfect om te ontspannen en de frisse oceaanlucht in te ademen.
Voor de gastronomische kok is er een moderne volledig uitgeruste keuken met granieten toonbanken, nieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten en alle gemakken van thuis. Geniet van koken en dineren tijdens het kijken naar zeehondenbruine, otters stoeien en golven die op de rotsen beuken of nestelen bij een warm vuur in de gezellige open haard.
Als u echter de voorkeur geeft aan opwinding, is er een schat aan activiteiten in overvloed! Kies uit talloze kampioenschapsgolfbanen, walvissen spotten, het beroemde Monterey Bay Aquarium, wandelen, kajakken, surfen, duiken, varen, fietsen, vissen, wijnproeven, galerijkijken, winkelen, lekker eten, live theater en musea om er maar een paar te noemen .
Dit sprankelende huis is gelegen tussen Monterey en Carmel aan de waterkant van de Pacific Grove, bekend als de 'Pink Carpet', omdat tijdens de late lente maanden de kust een helder paars-roze massa wordt wanneer alle ijsplanten in bloei staan.

Perfect place near Otter Cove

My family had an amazing time staying at the Otter Cove beach house! It had beautiful views from all vantage points, and was very nice / upgraded inside the home. It was in the perfect location, a short walk to the aquarium but also next to endless peaceful / quiet beach trails with so much sea life in view (otters, seals, etc).

Location is What Makes This Property

The view and location are everything the listing represents and we loved that aspect. The home itself and difficulty reaching host were less than wonderful. Main issues were bedroom curtains don't cover windows at all, so no sleeping past sunrise if you need a dark room. Mold on the downstairs shower curtain. Host pretty much did not respond to questions through the app - had to call them directly. In looking at other guests' feedback, these are ongoing issues, and there are more. We'll definitely look for a different house on our next trip to PG.

Well located—A little smaller and less modern than expected

The location is excellent. We’ve been going to the Monterey Peninsula for years and this is fairly quiet location with stunning views and fantastic walks just outside the door. For the price, we expected a more updated decor and appliances. We also experienced a number of brownouts during our stay which may have been caused by windy weather conditions in the area or may de due to the age of the house and wiring.The house was less roomy than the photos led us to believe.

Monterey Bay Delight

Comfortable, centrally located, quaint, beachy. A lot going on in the street. Dog walkers, joggers, bicyclists. Kayakers, scuba, snorkeling in the water. Good place for binoculars to watch what’s going on. Inside comfortable rooms and couch. The oven was confusing to preheat and to set temp and the bbq was electric with wood pellets w/o instructions, we quasi figured it out and got our steaks cooked. Had a lovely time, hope to be back.

Great location - the beach cove across the street was amazing and the walk/running path was great way to explore the area on foot. We drove the17-mile Drive at sunset from Carmel back to the house; it was beautiful!

The house was well appointed with an amazing view and nice walking trails nearby. Super close to the aquarium and lots of nice restaurants. The manager didn’t respond too quickly to questions. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer and dishwasher.

Beautiful location

The property was perfect for our holiday. As a family of four with 2 teenagers having three bedrooms was ideal as we all had our own space. I personally think two people would struggle to sleep together in the two smaller bedrooms due to the bed sizes but the main bedroom was ideal for us parents. We didn’t use the sofa bed downstairs so can’t comment about that. The location was fantastic being right on the coastal road with a fabulous view and access to walks along the footpath in either direction. The local seagulls were very vocal in the early morning which we enjoyed. The kitchen was well maintained with plenty of equipment. The only improvement I’d like to suggest would be to provide the check in details earlier than the day before arrival so as not to cause undue stress in particular as we were travelling from the UK and we’re coming straight to the property from the airport.

The view!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Being able to walk across to the water and see the sunset, otters playing, and take jog, etc. was just an amazing part of our stay. The location let us easily get to Monterey and we also used it as we headed into Carmel and Big Sur To explore. The window coverings could use a little help, but that is minor compared to the wonderful location and adorable home. Plenty of parking options, which is nice.
