Oceanfront: stap vanaf uw veranda naar het strand!

Dit huis is een van de weinige die langs de hele kustlijn bestaat, die zowel aan de oceaan ligt als aan de achterkant grenst aan het Asilomar State Park. Het is een echt 'Beach House' waar je vanaf de bank in de woonkamer daadwerkelijk walvissen kunt spotten!
Geweldige locatie - een korte wandeling langs het water naar Spanish Bay / Pebble Beach.
Het huis is eenvoudig, stevig en comfortabel. Vanaf 2019 werd het huis gerenoveerd met nieuwe baden, nieuwe verf, nieuwe tegelvloeren, nieuw tapijt, raambekleding, verlichtingsarmaturen etc. Beneden beschikt over een open plattegrond met grote woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken die allemaal van de ene naar de andere stromen. Er zijn grote ramen aan de voorkant met wijd open uitzicht op het strand. De woonkamer is voorzien van een grote open haard, comfortabele bank en gemakkelijke stoelen, een speeltafel, satelliet-tv, stereo-installatie, etc. Keuken is goed ingericht met veel kookgerei en apparaten. Gerechten worden 'old school' gedaan omdat er geen vaatwasser is. Maar omdat de gootsteen naar de oceaan kijkt, is het afwassen vrij pijnloos!
Boven zijn er drie comfortabele slaapkamers, allemaal met grote ramen, comfortabele bedden en een flatscreen satelliet-tv. Er is ook een bovendek met uitzicht op de duinen en het strand.
Buiten vindt u een vuurplaats in het zand, perfect voor vreugdevuren ... of ga gewoon zitten op een van de banken en kijk naar de sterren. De nachtelijke hemel is ongelooflijk omdat er weinig omgevingslicht is!
Het beroemde recreatietraject dat zich uitstrekt van Pebble Beach tot Santa Cruz, ligt aan de overkant van de straat. U kunt lopen naar Spanish Bay Resort (misschien een mijl) voor diners van wereldklasse, of wandelen langs de paden van het Asilomar State Park.
Als je een strand- / oceaanliefhebber bent, is dit jouw plek. Eén ding is zeker: breng hier uw vakantie door en u zult te weten komen waarom we zo veel van ons Beach House houden!

CSUMB grad weekend

This was the perfect property to gather the family to celebrate our son’s graduation from CSUMB. The view was amazing, the accommodations were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed multiple visits from deer in the front of the property. We will definitely use this property again!

Great place with amazing views!

This beach house is a really cool place. Right across street from lots of little beaches and many tide pools. Asilomar state beach is about a quarter of a mile down the road. There is an unobstructed view of the ocean from every room of the house. Very clean, with everything you need and more! I would come back to this place for sure. Awesome stay in Pacific Grove with the family!

Best view in Pacific Grove!

We loved our time here at this lovely home in Pacific Grove! The house was clean and well maintained. There are ocean views from almost every room in the house. We have 3 teenage daughters and we had plenty of room to spread out. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We spent time in Big Sur and Monterey Bay.

Location is amazing, but that's about it.

The overall cleanliness of the place is subpar, in fact I'd say it's gross. There were cobwebs on fixtures and throughout the house; kitchen utensils, dishes & cookware were very old & had food particles on them (we had to rewash everything to even feel comfortable using it); very old pots and pans where the teflon is peeling off and would end up in your food; the air return for the heating system was covered with dust & dirt that we could easily wipe off with our fingers; exterior windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while and we struggled to even see the amazing view (BTW, I sprayed them with the hose and found a mop in the garage to wipe them down. It took me 10 minutes & we could see through them clearly!) If only whoever "cleans" the place would take the time to do the same; One bedroom had something spilled and splattered on the wall that could've easily been wiped off; towel bar in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. I could go on and on. It's really too bad the people or person who owns this place is more concerned about making a buck off of the view versus having repeat renters. All of these issues wouldn't even be issues if they invested some time in keeping the place clean and a little money to keep it updated, including kitchen utensils, glassware & cookware! Get rid of all the old crap that is over flowing in all of the cabinets! I would never stay here again.

Location is amazing!

We have stayed here several times over the years. A few suggestions: Window shade broken by dining room table. Several windows no longer have screens including the corner bedroom upstairs. Downstairs bathroom window no longer opens. Windex to clean downstairs windows would be helpful when needed. Instructions to operate TV’s would be helpful. I didn’t know we couldn’t get sports.

We enjoyed our stay at the house while in town for my son's wedding. The location was perfect for wedding pictures on the beach as well as relaxing in between the busy activities while we stayed. We especially enjoyed all of the windows that looked out on the coast and the warm fireplace during morning coffee. The house was very comfortable, and we would be back if the need arose.

Perfect beach house

The location is on point! You have perfect ocean views from every room of the house.. and you on my cross one small street and you are on the beach! Not to mention there is a beautiful trail right in front as well. We had fun with the kids climbing rocks and playing in the sand. Inside had mostly what you need but lacked cooking basics like salt, cooking spray/oil, etc. So bring what you need for kitchen/cooking. They had plenty of plates & cups though. You may to hunt for extra blankets and clean them first as needed. Bathrooms had only soap & a bit of shampoo so bring what you may need. Other than those minor things the house is in the perfect location and we enjoyed it very much! We will be back!

Stunning location just across the road from the beach. Comfortable house, comfortable beds. Loved the family photos on the wall and the history they brought. As a person with limited mobility, it was great to be so close to the beach This was a special, relaxing vacation and we would all love to return.

Long weekend getaway

The property location is incredible! Could not have asked for a better location and the view absolutely stunning. The home was cozy and inviting. We are already planning another trip and bringing friends so we can share this experience. I appreciated the clear communication and what not to do. Which was very minimal! Check in and check out super simple. I am thankful they allow people to share their family beach house. My husband and I could feel the good vibes/energy the minute we stepped foot in the house.

Beautiful views and comfy at home feeling

I stay at this house every time i go up to Pacific grove the views are stunning. Im a family of 7 and it is homily feeling you feel like your right at home with this house. Abt a 2 min walk tops to the beach and abt 15 drive to anywhere you need to go. Properly manager is grea to work with gets back to yiu right away will be staying here again.

Great location. Clean. Could use a little effort to make it shine.

Excellent location. Deer visited the front yard every morning. Parking for 3+ cars, could probably fit six cars in the driveway if you really tried. No dishwasher, no problem. Photos need updating, as some of the furniture is different than pictured. More photos would be helpful for people to get an understanding of the floor plan. The shower head in the downstairs bathroom is low (approx. 5'6" high). Kitchen chairs need some attention. The legs on most are loose. All in all, the house is a great getaway. Would stay again.
