This was the perfect location for us. Just 15 minutes from the NP. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the front door. The check-in process was a breeze, kitchen stocked with all the things you need to prepare your favorite meals, plenty of utensils, dishes, spices, coffee, tea, etc. The outdoor space is perfect to unwind and relax in the quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our mornings strolling through the woods with a cup of coffee. Bathrooms are fully stocked with everything you need. The beds, OMG they are so comfortable we didn't want to leave. I do believe this house is in our top 2 houses we have ever stayed at. If we ever come back we will definitely stay here! Highly recommend.

The cabin was a great size, well-stocked in the kitchen for all our needs, and we loved having the hot tub after our two days of challenging hiking! We had a fantastic stay at Das Waldhaus. It was the perfect spot for our two day visit to Mount Rainier. The owners of this property have thought of every detail -- from Band-Aids to stain remover. The beds and pillows were super comfy. It was an above-and-beyond home rental. Our group was so impressed! We had a minor hiccup when the keypad on the front door ran out of batteries, but the host was responsive, communicative, and quick to fix. Would absolutely stay again!

This home is really nice and sits on a beautiful private property. Everything inside and out is well done and comfortable. It’s a little bit of a drive from town, but still a great spot for a couple days of exploring the national park.

The space was perfect for our group of six—plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the outdoor patio area was a highlight. We loved dining under the trees in the shade and unwinding in the comfy lounge chairs.After a full day of hiking at Paradise, the hot tub was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. Everything in the cabin—from the beds and bathrooms to the living spaces—was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped mountain retreat

This property is a must visit

We travel all over, but this is our favorite. This trip was 4 retired ladies, but next trip I’ll be bringing the grand kids for hiking and exploring. One of the neighbors told us about a double waterfall that is just a short walk from our back yard. I can’t say enough about the professional and prompt responses from the owners. This location feels like our own family cabin. The owners provide clean burning firewood for the inside fireplace which is a money saving courtesy. This is a must visit for all ages.

Absolutely a wonderful trip! The cabin was a wonderful treat for our Birthdays. Place was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. June my dog loved the trails behind the cabin. The hot tub was just Ahhhhhsome. Peaceful neighborhood. Fresh eggs next door to make fabulous breakfast. Beautiful, well maintained home with all amenities and extras! If it's not provided, you probably didn't need it anyway! This is a great place to relax and unwind after a day of hiking or sightseeing. If you're planning a vacation to the Mt. Ranier area, book Das Waldhaus - you'll be glad you did.

Trip Savers

We had a wonderful stay here! The cabin was beautiful and just right for our family. It felt so spacious even with 2 adults and 3 kids. This was the most well-appointed rental we have EVER stayed in. It was so nice to have some staples we could use instead of having to purchase and then throw away. Everything was super clean, the beds were very comfortable (doesn’t seem to be the norm for most rentals), kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of amenities to use. Plus, the view out the back door was lovely. It was a quiet and peaceful community. On another note, the owners literally saved our vacation. We left behind important documents and they were so wonderfully responsive and helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness. We were so lucky to have wonderful, trustworthy renters after us, these great hosts, plus a housekeeper that went well beyond the call of duty to meet us halfway to return our documents.

Wonderful stay!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Great location for hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park. The cabin itself was great and Kimberly was a delightful host. Would love to stay here again when we return to the area.

Great place!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was clean and well-equipped, and you can walk out the back yard and just keep walking into the National Forest. The internet speed is very fast. The kitchen, unlike in many other vacation rentals, has all the things we needed to actually cook. We didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit and the back yard so much because the mosquitoes were vicious while we were there, but the hot tub was nice!
