'Being “perfectly located” in Old San Juan means you’re within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars, historic sites (forts, plazas, cathedrals), and shops. 'Marly and her father Mr. J.R. were incredibly hospitable and had my room ready earlier than expected, which allowed me to rest after travel. 'This home was amazing, we loved our stay! My daughter and I had so much fun at the pool. It was an excellent stay, all the well thought details were amazing. Ingrid really is an amazing host the coffee bar was a plus I don't drink coffee but my parents loved it, and the welcome basket was well thought. Definitely this stay was 100 out of 10! 'Large property right across the street from the beach. Lots of activities on the property including a large pool. Bathrooms and rooms are a little outdated but in good shape. No A/C but the breeze from the ocean keeps things cool during the evening. The house is from the 50s so its older, but considering all its been through, its in good shape. Lost power on our last night there but this is a common occurrence anywhere you go in PR.'

'The location and property are wonderful. Five stars!!However, the spiral staircase (and it's 22 steps) are narrow. HIGHLY recommend packing small bags with no large/heavy pieces of luggage. We had to unpack the large bags downstairs and then make multiple trips upstairs with our clothing.While there, the Federal government shutdown which closed El Morro, Cristobal, El Yunque and the museums. Fortunately, the two largest malls remained open, and Uber fares were very reasonable. '
