Oh my gosh, it was perfect. I'm not sure it was as walkable as advertised, but we had 3 small kids. The hot tub made it very convenient to get small rounds of swimming in between the rains. Very spacious! All of the rooms were a great size, even had room for the portable crib. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. We would definitely choose this place again for future visits

Great home base for guys ski trip
Overall nice place. Was nice to have a hot tub at the end of a long day of skiing. Great location close to downtown - grocery store, ho springs, other shopping. Some things to know - this place only has one bathroom, which we knew before renting but others may not know. Also the wood floors for the stairs and second floor are creaky/noisy. These are not major issues, just something to be aware of. Overall we enjoyed the place.

Pro: Well-equipped kitchen. Hot tub is nice! Comfy sofa + chairs in living room to hang in. Clearly some thought and creativity went into design and decor. Con: Near main road through town (hot tub stares right at it 50 yards away). 100 year old house so it’s a bit creaky when someone is moving about. Bring your own streaming passwords.

Charming House
We loved this house! It was stocked with everything we needed from paper products to spices. The two boot warmers were a plus. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. Unfortunately, whoever stayed in the house before us put way too much shock in the hot tub and we were only able to use it at the end of our trip. We got in it the first night and had to get out immediately. That was our only complaint:). The washer and dryer work great. The house is very unique! We would stay here again for sure:)

Cozy cabin and great location
Enjoyed our stay over New Years! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed and the layout is great for skiing. The space is so unique with many fun and interesting things throughout the home. Being able to just walk to many places, and having our own hot tub was really nice.

Love these properties!
This was our 5th stay at one of the Incredible Pagosa rentals. They never disappoint. The design of each place is thoughtful and quirky. It is fully stocked, comfortable, and close to town. Ohea is wonderful and communicative. Great for a family of four. We will be back!

This property was excellent! I walked to town and to the store a few times it was such a convenient location. There was enough parking for our two trucks. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after bouncing around the beautiful mountains on our 4 wheelers. We felt safe enough that we opened the front and back doors every morning to let the cool crisp air breeze through. We will be back for sure!

Great Cabin with historical charm!
We had a great stay at the cabin! We enjoyed the history of it and all of the modern touches, the LED highlights in the door frames were especially wonderful! Our kiddos enjoyed the hot tub and yard. The location to downtown Pagosa can’t be beat. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Escaping the TX heat
Cute little cabin. My two daughters and I stayed for about five days in Pagosa Springs to escape the Central Texas heat in July. This cabin was very convenient to the historic area. And easy access to the springs and the river activities. Everything was very clean and comfortable. All the necessary amenities were available. We all really enjoyed it.

This is the perfect vacation home for a 6 person group. It was rustic yet had all the modern conveniences, a full kitchen, and a hot tub. My kids loved the dining room and the games and puzzles under the TV. Ohea was a wonderful host and the check-in process and level of communication was perfect. We love this region of Colorado and would stay in this home again whenever visiting!

Relaxing and Comfortable Home
This was the perfect spot for our family after spending the days on the slopes at Wolf Creek. The house is close to good restaurants and centrally located in town. Everything was as advertised. The owners communicated along every step, even letting us know that they had the place ready earlier then the 4pm check in time. Having a full kitchen and access to a washer dryer also helped with our stay. We would stay here again!

We frequent Pagosa Springs regularly, often to ski Wolf Creek. This is by far one of our favorite places we’ve stayed, and we will be returning again soon if it’s available. This cabin has A LOT of charm…..loved it!!!!

What a wonderful home with interesting architecture in a great location with kind people.
My friends and I had a wonderful time. We came to relax, do some crafts and some astronomy. The home is incredibly cozy with so many unique features. I personally had lost my dog 2 weeks before this trip and it was a good place to continue the healing process, very peaceful and all of the people who live here are incredibly kind. One other note, one of our cars had broken down after we had checked out and the owner let us hang out inside rather than wait in the cold for the mechanic, that was incredibly kind of them and if I could give 10 stars rather than 5, I would. We will keep this place in mind the next time we come to Pagosa Springs. Thank you again.

We really enjoyed this house. We loved the character of it, it was very clean, and is at a very convenient location. We were afraid of the one bathroom with 6 of us staying but it was not an issue at all. And the hot tub was WONDERFUL. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Magical cabin feel minutes from downtown
This is our 3rd year out to Pagosa staying at this home. It’s so unique and the location is a prime spot. Cannot wait to book next year. We bring out gear and dogs and have a true getaway. The Wi-Fi is great since I work remotely so I don’t lose out when away from home. Ohea is an amazing host and there if you need anything. We go during the winter to enjoy the awesome powder at Wolf creek! Don’t forget your snow tires and tire chains during the winter!! Thanks for everything, see you next year!

Great older house that has been brought back to life! Had all the amenities that you would need and suer comfortable bed. Perfect location that was walking distance to things. Only negative is there is only 1 bathroom and could be a problem if more people were staying. Still would recommend this house and would stay here again.

Loved it!
My wife, our two dogs and I stayed here for two nights and wished we had time to stay longer. The host was great at communicating and the property exceeded all expectations. Extremely clean and super cozy with tons of personal touches that really separates this place from all the rest. The home had a lot of character and you can tell the owner personalized every inch of this place. The location was also awesome. We walked back and forth from the hot springs, the coffee shops and restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again night time we are in the area.

Lovely home close to downtown
We loved this property, it’s a beautiful home right next to downtown. We were only a minute or two from most of the activities. This is a unique property with lovely touches everywhere, we loved the bar with the beautiful brick floors. The house was spotless, and full of amenities. We were visiting with our dogs, three year old daughter, and my mom. There was plenty of space for all of us. The back patio was great and was another spot for us to spread out. Plenty of room to walk the dogs too as there is a large side yard and an empty lot behind the home. The beds and couches were comfy and we honestly had no complaints. We would definitely come back to Pagosa given the opportunity!

A nice surprise!
We loved this house! We had space to spread it. It had every amenity you could possibly need. All the wood and metal features made it such a cute place to enjoy. Having TV with all the streaming channels was a big hit for our teen boys. And the hot tub was nice during the cooler evenings. We have no complaints and highly suggest it. A lot of thought went in to this sweet little house.

We had a really great stay. The house is very comfortable me we’ll set up for an enjoyable trip. There were 3 of us for most of our stay with a 4th for one night and there was ample room for everyone. The hot tub was a great treat, particularly after days of skiing. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen as we cooked all of our meals. Ohea was easy to communicate with. We would absolutely stay here again.

Quirky Comfort
Not only just what we were looking for, it was a welcome change from the rather nondescript accommodations we had the previous ten days. My wife and I are doing the "digital nomad" thing for a few months, travelling between ski towns in CO while working remotely. The setup here could not have been better; I worked at the small desk in the laundry/third bedroom and my wife set up at the larger desk in the living room. WiFi was fast and reliable and we could both visit the kitchen and bathroom without intruding on each others space. The kitchen was well stocked and thoughtfully laid out and the upstairs bedrooms very cozy with a ski cabin vibe. The most fun (and unexpected) part of our stay as discovering all of the unique, custom touches throughout the house: a stock tank for the tub/shower basin, custom metalwork throughout including a very interesting light fixture that winds its way up the staircase, old doorknobs, recycled doors, a dining area that used to be what appears to be a repurposed garage, built in night lights in doorways with elevation transitions (be aware there are quite a few), what looked like hand-hewn wood countertops etc. It seemed like every day we discovered something new. The location is within easy walking distance (15 minutes max) to the main hot springs and downtown. With a little exploration you'll find the nearby access to the San Juan Riverwalk which keeps you off of highway 160. Be aware that while the location is convenient you are just off the highway and across from a gas station so there is quite a bit of traffic at most times of day.

This home was the perfect spot for our group and we'll likely stay here again. It has some lovely modern upgrades but the historic feel of the old home is palpable. It was very clean and comfortable and located across the street from Natural Grocery and only blocks from restaurants which was very convenient. Wished there was more privacy in the hot tub from the main street. At night with the lights on in the tub area there's a straight line of sight to grocery store and the neon lights from bar across street and the gas station on the corner disrupt the hot tub ambience a bit. In the summer the trees probably provide some additional privacy but in winter months people at the bar, gas station, grocery can see you as you relax in the tub area. We made it work and just turned off the outdoor lights and braved the ice path in the dark and felt much more private. Only other detail to note is that there is no longer a trundle bed nor a Murphy bed as original description suggests. Otherwise, this is a really clean, beautiful, well appointed rental that served our needs very well.
