Spahotels in Paklinski-eilanden

"We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The first day when we arrived we immediately noticed a strong smell coming from the fuel station next to the hotel. Although I was aware of the fact that there was a fuel station next to the hotel, I didnt read any complains about the smell. At the same time we noticed some black fuel in the sea in front of the hotel. We had chosen for the half board option, so I was a bit stressy about the smell, as diner was outside. The first evening we thus decided to sit as far away possible from the fuel station. The next day however luckely :-) we couldnt smell anything. So I assume it is not that common. The other days we absolutely enjoyed both our breakfast and our dinner. We however did not swim in the sea, because it didnt feel "safe" because of the fuel we had seen earlier. But Brač is a small Island and there are plenty of beaches where you can go to, as long as you have a car (which is a must when staying in Milna). The quality of the food, both breakfast and dinner are amazing. For dinner we had a 3 course meal. After being out the whole day, exploring the island, it is very nice to have dinner in this small fishers village. The staff is very friendly and try everything in order for the guests to feel welcome. The only thing I did not like was the fact that towels werent changed each day, and the room wasnt cleaned every day, which, in my personal opinion, is an absolute requirement as it is a 4 star hotel. Location is very lovely. "

"Staff were friendly in general, in particular in restaurant/at breakfast. Rooms very clean, daily too, bathrooms somewhat dated but fine. Sound proofing rooms leaves to be desired, woke up from late guest a few times. Location is good, nice views to the sea and easy access for a swim, 10min walk to town. Breakfast and food could do with improvement; dry bread. But overall good and relaxing experience"
