'My stay at the Terra d'Amuri was great. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of the Duomo and the beautiful old section of Catania. My stay was made even better by the wonderful and gracious owner, Loredana, who spoke perfect English and was always ready to help with any questions I had about sights and transportation. The room was very comfortable and had a beautiful painted mural, and very nice modern bathroom as well. I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in...

The location is privileged, walking distance to the fish market and the duomo, close to pretty much everywhere I wanted to visit in Catania in a 2.5 day trip before leaving to Ortigia, in the middle of the historic neighborhood.
The one thing that wasn't great was,...
