I was in rush to the train station to catch the hourly train back to Montreux but could only reached the hotel to retrieve my luggage 10 min before the train departure. The staff offered an exceptional drive for me so that I could catch the train. That gave me an excellent first impression of the Swiss!'

'Les chambres ne ressemblent pas du tout aux photos. C’est fait de bric et de broc avec des matériaux de seconde zone. Pas d’ascenseur et c’est haut par de petits escaliers. Petit déjeuner médiocre. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings — much more than we expected. The bar and resturant areas are all wood finished which gives great affect and both have terras offering the glorious views. You also have the benefit of the hot-tub in the outside bar-area terras!!

'the hotel and staff are perfect! location and food could not be better. you can hike directly from the hotel and view is truly spectacular from the hotel. For me the only small downside is that the pillows on the bed are very thin. Not sure if other types of pillows are available i did not check with the hotel. '
