'My wife and I have always stayed at a timeshare exchange unit when visiting Aruba. This time, however, we decided to arrive a day early. For the first time we would need to find an alternate accommodation for one night only. So I looked at some of the less expensive options on Hotels.com and based on price and excellent reviews we chose A1 Apartments. We were not disappointed. The place was beautifully decorated with state of the art amenities. The host was amazing and ensured we had everything we needed from reservations to directions. She was also available 24 hours. 'Good stay, has everything you need for a good price if you want to avoid spending arm and leg at the Marriott across the street and if you don’t mind the 5 min walk. My brother was getting married at the Marriott so i mostly used their facilities and was surprised that no one asked or cared if i was staying there or not but that said Lagunita’s pool and facilities are nice and quaint and the room is nice and clean. '
