Welkom bij Double Down Hideaway bij Plaza Villas. Perfecte locatie in het hart van Downtown Palm Springs - aan de overkant van de straat van The Spa Casino en het Convention Center. Slechts drie korte blokken van de wereldberoemde Palm Canyon Drive als het snijdt door de bruisende binnenstad. Je krijgt veel voor je geld bij Plaza Villas. De eigenaren van Double Down Hideaway hebben hun eigen woestijnontsnapping gecreëerd die ze nu voor de eerste keer als vakantieverblijf delen. Deze woning is volledig voorzien van beddengoed, wifi en premium kabel. Het kan gehuurd worden per week, maand of seizoen. Aangezien de eigenaren deze plek zelf gebruiken, kunt u er zeker van zijn dat deze zeer schoon, uiterst comfortabel en zeer goed onderhouden is.

DE LOCATIE
Plaza Villas ligt in het hart van het centrum van Palm Springs. Je bevindt je direct aan de overkant van het Spa Casino, net om de hoek van het conferentiecentrum en op slechts drie korte blokken van de wereldberoemde Palm Canyon Drive. Daar vind je lekker eten van bijna elke keuken, informele eetgelegenheden, cabaret en uitgaansgelegenheden. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable. Very clean and well kept. The condo was stylish, comfortable and felt like home. There was a very friendly neighbor who welcomed us and offered help if needed and we appreciated the host checking up on us during our stay. Couldn't have been nicer.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Double Down Hideaway. It was clean & very well stocked with all the essentials even a full pound of coffee. The beds are comfortable and the communication from Acme house was excellent. We would definitely stay there again in the future

Palm Springs Relaxing Escape

We had a great time staying at Double Down Hideaway in downtown Palm Springs. The location was prime and great for going on walks or heading to downtown for dinners or an evening out the facilities at the condominium especially the pools were excellent and well-maintained. The grounds were beautiful as described and well equipped with what was needed for the trip I would stay here again with my family. The property management company was easy to deal with. All in all a great trip

Excellent location, unit very clean and very well equipped. The minor issues we had were soled immediately by the staff. Very impressive .The main floor worked well for us, but does seem dark.

Double Down Delight

We loved this location, two pools, a great hot tub, a very short walk to shopping and restaurants. Our Condo was well equipped with everything we could need, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and very nice linens. The Acme House Company made our check in so easy and we received lots of communication leading up to our stay. During our stay we had information in case of emergency or if we should require anything additional during our stay. I am looking forward to returning.

Condo was extremely clean and looked just as depicted in photos. Was also well stocked with everything needed including bag of good coffee, pool noodles and towels, tennis rackets, etc. Location couldn’t be better - very close to downtown and Arenas street. 2 pools are very nice and other residents were very nice. Had some issues with entry gate to property but not a deal breaker. Would definitely stay here again.

Not but what I expected, but what I had hoped for!

Property/site/locale/furnishings were terrific... but it was the little things that made it 5 of 5 stars. For instance, a bag of coffee upon arrival; high quality TP and paper towels (not cheap 1-ply stuff); an assortment of books, games, and even tennis rackets/balls to use; a comprehensive 'welcome' book' that really helped us acclimate to Palm Springs restaurants, shopping, activities. The ONLY drawback was TV hook-up with 'old' cable instead of full SmartTV access. Will definitely look for ACME hosted properties in the future!

Wonderful Mid-Town Condo!

I hesitate to review this place only because it may cause it to be less available for us. Clean, bottom floor condo located RIGHT downtown. Parking is mere steps away from the front door. The pool and hot tub for the complex is inviting with a wonderful view of the San Jacintos.

Ideal Location; Extremely Well Maintained

Location is perfect walking distance to all downtown and uptown dining/shops. Grounds are beautiful and super-well maintained. Pools are clean with quality furniture are great Mountain View’s. Unit is exactly as described and fully furnished with plenty of extra linens, pool/tennis gear, cookware/dishwater, and tv/stereo. TV is not “smart” so no streaming unless you bring a Roku, etc. Two decks are nice with great landscaping. Beds are very firm which we like. Highly recommend.

We loved being able to walk to downtown where there are several excellent restaurants. We appreciated the spotlessly clean grill. Everyone was very respectful regarding wearing masks and social distancing. The place is always perfectly clean. The only suggestion is that the living room blinds are a bit challenging to operate. While the kitchen could use some updates, everything worked just fine.

All the appliances were clean and in good working order. I wish my oven at home was that clean! There was a good variety of kitchen equipment which was all in good shape or in like new condition. The living space was very comfortable with a very nice decor. My only complaint would be that the laundry soap pods were very strongly scented. If you are sensitive to perfume, like I am, do not use the ones provided. I had to rewash my clothes in plain water to remove the strong perfumed smell that was left in my clothes. There were lots of excellent restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. Pomme Frites and Zin American Bistro were exceptional. The permanent residents that group by the larger pool were quite entertaining. If you want less "entertainment" the 2nd smaller pool is a better option. Lots of great hiking only a 10 minute drive away at Indian Canyons or Tahquitz Canyon.

Good are the beds, bathrooms bbq /outside area and kitchen appliances The lesser things are the seatings. The couch is getting old and uncomfortable. Also one of the chairs is not really a relaxing place to sit on. The house is close to the mean villa complex exit. And although it is nice to have no neighbors at front of you, you can hear very wel the cars on the street behind the wall. It didn’t bother us as much, but just want to share info. Our overall impressing was very possitive.
