This was a very well-stocked house with all the kitchen equipment to handle a month-long stay. The entire house was well stocked and well equipped. I've rented houses dozens of times over the years and so many units come with a salt and pepper shaker and have a lot of missing dishes, silverware and kitchen equipment. None of that was an issue with this house. Most importantly we ran into a serious problem with the house and the owners went over and above in order to resolve the problem. They worked on the problem for more than 24 hours and took a lot of time and expense in order to fix it. Amazing.
This house was new to the market and had a few kinks, as you would expect, and I'm confident the owners will get the kinks out promptly.
The rooms were spacious and the unit was very clean and well kept. Everything was in working order. Room for parking for four cars off the street if needed. The back porch area was spacious and well equipped as well. Grilling situation on the back porch was first rate.
The "Sun City" experience was, well, the Sun City experience. Unless you plan on using their pools or knitting clubs, there is no need for a guest pass or car pass. Neither is needed in order to golf there on site. And the golf in Sun City was the best we found in Palm Springs. Their two courses had the lowest prices and best golf conditions combined. But having a guest pass, car pass or a rental lease made absolutely no difference as you pay the same price as any old member of the public walking in off the street.
The neighborhood was safe and quiet and the neighbors were friendly.
