Nieuw gerenoveerd van binnen en buiten. Dit is bijna een nieuw huis met klassiek-moderne Palm Springs stijl. Gelegen in het hart van het historische Palm Springs.
Geniet van het spectaculaire uitzicht op de bergen vanuit uw woonkamer in de buitenlucht met uitzicht op het verwarmde privézwembad en de spa. De woonkamer in de buitenlucht heeft overdekte en open terrassen, een eethoek, een gasbarbecue en een gazon. Alles wat je nodig hebt om te genieten van de geweldige Palm Springs weer.
Binnen een open grote zaal is het hart van het huis. De woonkamer is voorzien van een gewelfd plafond, een gashaard, TV met kabel DVR & DVD. Het opent naar de eetzaal en een chef-kok de keuken. Het eetgedeelte opent direct naar het zwembad en outdoor woonkamer. De nieuwe aangepaste keuken is volledig gevuld en beschikt over roestvrijstalen apparaten, walnoothouten kasten, klassieke witte quartz-toonbanken en een eiland waar gasten zich kunnen verzamelen terwijl u kookt of gewoon een cocktail bereiden.
De slaapkamer heeft een king size bed, badkamer met bad en directe toegang tot de eigen achtertuin. De 2 andere slaapkamers hebben elk een queen size bedden en delen van de hal bad. Er is een wasruimte aan de binnenkant.
Rockette Ranch ligt in de historische wijk El Mirador in Palm Springs. Genoemd naar een van de eerste resorts die Palm Springs tot een bestemming voor Hollywood en de wereld maakten. Tegenwoordig is het een rustige wijk om te ontsnappen met gemakkelijke toegang tot winkels, restaurants, musea, het nachtleven en alles wat Palm Springs te bieden heeft.

Fantastic Week in the Desert

We had an amazing time at this home! The interior is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. However, we spent most of our time in the back yard floating around in the pool and lounging. The views of the mountain from the pool are simply stunning. In addition, the neighborhood is very quiet and convenient to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Fab house in great location

House was perfect for us. Great layout, kitchen very well equipped with everything our family needed. Nicely furnished with mid-century pieces. Beds were amazing. Outside area was a perfect size with great sun coverage and plenty of space to catch rays. Easy walk through Movie Colony into downtown Palm Springs but far enough away to o be very serene. Excellent. Will definitely be back.

Cleanest vrbo we've ever stayed in.

We were really impressed with Colin's home. It was super clean and well-designed for our family of 4. The hot tub heater worked very well and quickly and we were out in the pool multiple times a day. It's in a great location, close to downtown and all the places we wanted to visit. If you were motivated, it's a pretty easy walk over to Palm Canyon Drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Mid-Century charm

Rockette Ranch has been lovingly retored to its Mid-Century Modern origin with every modern upgrade seamlessly included. It is a comfortable, welcoming house in a very convenient area of town--a few minutes drive from anywhere in Palm Springs. The owner is very accommodating and helpful without being intrusive dureing your stay. The price is quite reasonable considering there is no surcharge fo heating the pool and spa. I've rented several properties in PS over the years but would return to Rockette Ranch in a heartbeat based on the pool heating bargain alone. You cannot go wrong at this little gem of a house.

Great Location with Awesome Mountain Views

A very nice professionally landscaped home with a good pool and hot tub facing the mountains. We spent numerous nights watching the sunsets and local hummingbirds from either in the hot tub or pool - extremely calm and relaxing. At night, many of the local residences also have professional uplighting accenting the many types of palm trees creating a surreal work of art in the quiet neighborhood.The home is centrally located and convenient to shopping / restaurants, and some local nice golf courses so really the best of both worlds.The owner was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely rent this property again.

9.5 out of 10. As a group of older women, the hot tub and swimming pool had no rails and the steps into the hot tub were so high that it was extremely hard to get in and out, especially if one has arthritis. Keep this in mind depending on your groups needs as this probably applies to children as well. That said almost every rental in Palm Springs doesn’t have handrails at their pools!The kitchen had nice appliances and all the utensils and pots and pans we needed, the grill worked well. The decor was really lovely. Colin was very easy to contact. The location is ideal. In short we are coming back next year!

Love the area

We love the neighborhood - so close to the big walking Ruth park. It’s great that there are two different grocery stores and many restaurants nearby. The area is quiet and the backyard with the pool and grassy area along with the vegetation that attracts hummingbirds was so nice. We are talking about coming back again next year.😀

Staying cool on the hottest day on record!

House is located in a quaint neighborhood and well maintained. Garage parking was a nice bonus to keep the car out of the sun. Close to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. We indulged at Sherman's Deli (a must) and enjoyed nearby fireworks for the 4th. Colin provided details on the surrounding Holiday activities, which was helpful. We let Colin know the drapes in the bedroom could be darker else you may be waking with the sun :). We had a great time.

We enjoyed our time here, however the was one hiccup. Upon arrival the owner informed us that he would be coming on Sunday to pick up his RV. This was not previously disclosed. We assumed that they would simply pick up the RV and leave. However, they came inside the house twice without ok’ing with us to make sure it was ok. We have 3 small children. They were there for about 30 minutes and it just made us feel very uncomfortable. I would say that other than this, we did enjoy our time. House was clean and had all the necessities.

Incredible atay

The home was exactly as pictures and described, with plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor area were perfect, complete with pool floats, lots of seating, a barbecue and fire pit. The kitchen was very well-equipped; the beds were comfortable, and the entire home was immaculate. We looked for a cooler one day and joked that we finally found something the house was missing, only to find 2 coolers of different sizes in the garage the next day! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Palm Springs.

Perfect in Palm Springs

We are a family of four (two adults, two children) and had a wonderful and memorable stay in Palm Springs. The house is in a great location of Palm Springs, near the downtown restaurants and shopping. The house is a beautiful and has a wonderful layout; it is true representation of the architecture and vibe of Palm Springs. We were very comfortable with the accommodations. The pool and spa were such a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the afternoon and evening; easy to use and enjoy nighttime lighting. There is a nice sitting area next to the pool with sweeping views of the mountains. Further, the inside of the home has a large honeycomb shade, and therefore we were able to view the mountains in the morning and evening while maintaining our privacy. Every day we were well rested to go out and explore Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Colin allowed us to park our vehicle in the garage where there was plenty of space. We felt very secure throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and the property is fenced. Colin was a pleasure to work with. We met with him upon check-in, and he was accessible before our stay with any questions and during our stay (though we never needed to contact him). The home had plenty of towels (both bathroom and pool), pool toys, and all the furnishings and household essentials of a typical home. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We would and will definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
