Welkom bij The Crest: A Mid-Century Mountain Garden Getaway. Dit is meer dan alleen een huis. Het is jouw GELUKKIGE plaats.

Op slechts 2 uur rijden van Los Angeles, deze midden-eeuwse oase met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers is centraal gelegen in de buurt van het historische Point Happy-gebied van La Quinta.

Oorspronkelijk gebouwd in 1965, is dit huis gelegen op een groot hoekperceel en biedt meer dan 1600 m² functionele leefruimte. Het huis heeft nog steeds een deel van zijn oorspronkelijke karakter uit het midden van de eeuw en heeft de tand des tijds doorstaan.

Op zoek naar een uitje? Wat is een betere plek dan The Crest! Dit kleine paradijs ligt in een mooie en rustige met palmbomen omzoomde wijk met een prachtig dramatisch uitzicht op de Santa Rosa-bergen.

Veel van onze buren hebben heel lang in de gemeenschap gewoond. Maak een langzame rit langs onze hoofdstraat of maak een wandeling door de buurt en u zult zien waarom. Je bent in een andere wereld.

Het huis is weelderig aangelegd met exotische soorten woestijnplanten en volwassen bomen en het oase-achtige zwembad nodigt uit tot ontspanning en rust.

Doe een dutje, lees een boek of geniet van het uitzicht vanuit uw hangende hangmat of geniet van een kopje koffie in uw rustige ontbijthoek.
De woning heeft een zeer lichte en open indeling. De aangepaste bloemen dubbele toegangsdeuren die werden geïmporteerd uit Zuid-Amerika zijn adembenemend en uniek. Het huis is prachtig ingericht met bamboe houten vloeren. Binnen in de woonkamer, zult u het smaakvolle en uitnodigende eco-moderne design uit het midden van de eeuw opmerken en meubels van mangohout die populair zijn in het hedendaagse leven.

Het huis ligt dicht bij de kruising van Highway 111 in de buurt van Point Happy en wordt door sommigen beschouwd als de westelijke toegangspoort tot La Quinta.
Onze kleine, rustige, Highland Palms-community bestaat uit minder dan 100 huizen die in de vroege jaren 60 en 70 zijn gebouwd. De locatie heeft ook veel historische betekenis, met banden met de Cahuilla-indianen, The Bradshaw Trails, The Point Happy Ranch en het beroemde DuPont Estate om er maar een paar te noemen.

Het beste deel van de buurt is de locatie. U zult geen betere vinden! Het biedt de perfecte balans tussen rust en stilte en is tegelijkertijd centraal voor alles! Het is allemaal binnen handbereik. U bevindt zich op wandel- en fietsafstand van geweldige restaurants, theaters, winkels en bevindt zich op 1,5 km afstand van de Indian Wells Tennis Gardens. U bevindt zich ook op korte rijafstand van golfbanen van wereldklasse, wandelpaden, casino's en de Empire Polo Grounds, de thuisbasis van de Coachella- en Stagecoach-festivals.

Beautiful, comfortable, super relaxing vacation.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Crest to visit my brother and take in the sites of Palm Springs. The house was the perfect place to spend some nice relaxing time resting from work and catching up with my brother who lives locally. The house was pristine and set up nicely. The pool was nice and cool and a refreshing break from the desert heat. The neighborhood is super quiet and away from the hustle. Owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Cannot wait to return.

Excellent stay in a great town

My husband and I had a very relaxing stay in La Quinta. The Crest house was clean, beds were comfortable and was within minutes to many restaurants. We looked forward to using the great pool when the afternoons were hot. Mark was very responsive if we had any questions. I highly recommend staying at this great house. We definitely will be back if we come back to La Quinta again.

Family vacation to relax, shop, enjoy the sun and take in Stagecoach.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crest!! The home is situated in a beautiful neighborhood with amazing views of the Santa Rosa Mountains. it is centrally located to many restaurants, grocery stores and retail outlets and therefore was very easy for us to get around. The home is very spacious and had all the amenities we required for our stay. The beds too were very comfortable. The outside space was very nice. The pool got cleaned several times during our stay and there was more than enough pool toys and floaties available to enjoy. The property manager kept in communication with us which was very nice since this was our first Vrbo rental experience. Although I would say the home was clean there were some areas the cleaning staff could improve on such as wiping down dirty walls, baseboards and cleaning inside the garbage can to name a few. We too were initially disappointed to find out there was in fact no hot tub even though it was on the listing. It would have been nice but we much preferred the using the pool anyway. Overall I would highly recommend anyone to stay at The Crest and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again in the future!!

Fantastic family getaway in this gorgeous desert oasis!

We recently had a wonderful 10-day getaway at a mid-century desert home that left us feeling completely refreshed. The house was beautifully designed, and the peaceful backyard with a pool was a highlight of our stay. We also loved the quiet neighbourhood and the stunning backdrop of the hills behind the property. Our host, Mark, was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering any questions we had and making sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The location was also perfect, as it was close to everything we needed, including grocery stores, restaurants, and amazing golf courses. This property was absolutely perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenage daughters. The ping pong table was hit with them and a great place to escape the sun under the covered patio. The pool was very large and clean with plenty of floats if you need to lounge in the water. the yard was peaceful and very relaxing. The house has everything you could need on a vacation with large Tv's, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. The host Mark was very accommodating and always available for any needs or questions. We will for sure be back!!! Thank you for a great vacation Mark!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for a week. First, Mark is awesome. We had problems with the cable tv (I finally figured out how to rest box) and Mark attempted to help immediately. That in itself is unique and worth mentioning. As for the property, the pool is not heated and the description of the house does not mention that, which as a pool owner is important. Although there is a hammock, it is covered in bird poop as the neighbor in the back has doves. The lawn furniture is extremely uncomfortable (metal chairs, cheap with no cushions). The recliners have 2" pads, but the furniture is hard wood, so 4" is needed. When the weather hit above 80, we put our feet in the pool and were immediately cooled down, but because of the pool temperature, the pool was not usable. if you were just using the house as a base to stay, you could not ask for a more convenient place.
