The condo was great but the elevator situation was not. Only 1 out of 3 elevators were in service for our stay and listening to other guests that seems to be a common occurrence. At one point a sign had been added that only 6 guests should be on the elevator at a time on an elevator whose official capacity is 15. It took over an hour of waiting to even get from the parking garage to our condo upon checking in.

What a relief to be out of South Carolina for the Hurricane. We stayed on the strip so we did not have any effects in Pidgeon Forge We had many questions answered in such a timely manner that eased our minds about the whole situation. We appreciate the professionalism of the management. The indoor pool was used due to the rainy days and made it fun for the grands. We have stayed in these condos about 4 times and appreciate the amenities and cost. The elevators were cleaned everyday-we couldn't believe how clean everything was.

Ocean reef 1407

Wonderful condo. Very homey and just beautiful. Issues: I did not receive email regarding downloading the Hospitality App that gave all the pertinent required info about check in, key code, rules, no smoking policy anywhere on grounds INCLUDING the beach. Also, last day of visit I tried using WiFi and gave up. And those codes were also in the hospitality app. Parking was VERY tight. No major issue, but two SUVS could not easily park beside each other. Just a heads up for future travelers. But the condo was great I also cannot say enough about the check in attendant, John. Without him, I still would be trying to get help. He put me in touch with someone at at Greta’s and that’s when they told me there was the app to download. So sitting at the security entrance, I had to go through and download. Not a great way to start, but he was super helpful to both my daughter and me. Very thoughtful, courteous, and understanding.

First Condo Experience

At 70, this is first time I have rented a condo instead of staying in a hotel. It was better than I thought it would be and wish I had longer than 3 days. It felt very homey even though it wasn't mine! Drawers were available in bedrooms and bathroom, good closet space, washer and dryer in unit, lots of small appliances, comfortable furniture, and anything needed for cooking (although we didn't!) Lots of board games available and the perfect round table for playing them. Everything was just as in the photos and in great condition. 14th floor is high enough to see over the building next door with a great panoramic view of the ocean and sunset. Only negative about Ocean Reef for me is no place on site to get food or drink. But Sharky's and a few other places are a short beach walk!

Great vacation condo

Great condo with a really large balcony. The view of the ocean was great. The condo was exactly as pictured and was in a convenient location. Perfect spot for a couple or small family. Loved that there were reserved beach chairs included and that floaties, beach chairs, etc were also available in the condo for our use.

Nice, clean property

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Great location, easy check in process, and lots of extra added touches to make our vacation wonderful. The ocean view was the best part! We will be back.

Awesome!

Great condo with breathtaking views! Very clean, homey and near tons of things! The kitchen had everything and anything. Very large washer and dryer. Balcony was spacious and awesome views. Great pool and assigned parking space. Ten minutes from shopping and restaurants as well as Pier Park. Also enjoyed the two lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach which was free. All kinds of board games for rainy days. Exceptional place! We were very pleased.

Beach heaven!

This vacation was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken! If you are looking for a much less crowded beach you have found the right place. The condo had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed for our week long stay! Greta’s Rental team responded immediately at 11:00pm with a small issue we had. The condo was very clean, and is in a great location for viewing the ocean life, sunrises and sunsets and also within walking distance to great restaurants on the beach. For the kids, there is a go-cart track, mini golf, an arcade, Alvin’s Island souvenir store and A’more Donuts, all right across the street! The parking is tight but doable, even with big vehicles,, to make life easier, just unload anything before pulling into the parking spot. I have already recommended this condo to our friends and family!! Hope to be back very soon!

Great location

Great property. You can really tell that the owner wants your stay to be perfect. Kitchen well equipped, extra chairs and other items so you can head straight to the beach without a pit stop. I had 2 teens that loved being able to run across the street to all the fun. Simply perfect. Can’t wait to book again next year.

All the extras!

Condo is very clean and in great condition. It has a lot of extras (games, beach chairs, chair rental, sand toys, floats, etc) that make your stay very convenient! Because the adjacent properties are small— the beach is not over crowded. Would definitely stay again!

When checking in noticed hairs on the counter and crumbs on the toaster Condo decorated very well comfortable. Owners take great care. Parking was not good spaces way too small was not able to use parking spot. Also one elevator not working. Seems to be a recurring theme. Condo grounds security guard( Mark? From Louisiana) all very good

Great accommodations!

Great accommodations very clean nicely decorated nice beach front property. Only problem was with the elevators the day we left. Got stuck in the elevator the fire department had to get us out. All elevators out of service at check out time had to haul all luggage down the stairs. All that being said I’d go back

Property was fully loaded with everything you would need including 2 beach bikes and 2 beach chairs set up each day right on the water. There were some issues with the elevators when we arrived but they were corrected and functioned efficiently the remainder of our stay.

Wonderful property

The property was beautifully decorated and spotless! We really appreciated fully equipped kitchen, beautiful and large balcony and spacious rooms. Beach service with chairs and an umbrella was great bonus! Could not have asked for a nicer property to stay in!

All in all, our stay was good. The room was very clean. It has all the amenities to be comfortable. Check-in process is easy. The hospitality app they provide makes life easy with this condo. Beach chairs came with it. No problem with the beach chairs other than things out of the owner’s control. People from the motels share these rentals too. Lots of those people smoked, had loud radios, and weren’t courteous of others trying to relax on the beach. This property is located between two older motels. The Fountain Bleau was here when I was a little girl (I’m 43). Not sure the name of the old motel to the left. Lots of smoking and vaping on the beach and people did not care if the wind blew it right in your face. Again, not the owner’s fault. Location is just not the best in my opinion. You can hear the loud trucks and their horns at night. While we were here, lots of construction going on at this property. We had to listen to next door drill or something for a whole day. Super annoying. Couldn’t hear ourselves think. Again, not the owner’s fault. I was irritated because I am a doctoral student who was trying to do homework while here. The noise was just too much. More of a property issue. Parking is tight if you have bigger SUV’s. The owner’s do provide a noce place. It’s just the property with some small issues that could make this stay better. Oh and one elevator was broken. The cables broke and it wasn’t going to be foxed for 4 weeks. Security told us in the elevator they were waiting on cables from China..lol.

It was everything as listed and more

When you walk in and it is exactly as described, I think it’s always a relief. ;-). The condo was beautiful and comfortable. A perfect combination in my book! We will definitely want to stay here again.

Truly 5-star

Communication with the Rental Management of the property was very easy, they answered quickly and were friendly when we spoke to them. The condo was clean and beautiful, with two bikes that we took out one day which was fun! Seating is comfortable and there are so many beach things; chairs, a skim board, sand castle buckets, and more. They have a folding buggy that was handy to help us move our things to and from the car, also would’ve been great on the beach but we brought our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We want to come back! We have stayed in this condominium at least 3, maybe 4 times now. We really like it here, it’s probably pretty busy in the summer months- we tend to come in November and there aren’t that many people here then
