Stylish rooms, cleanliness needs improvement
Hotel is fine, considering the price. Location is good, the staff is friendly and the rooms look stylish. Also there is free coffee in the morning. However, the floor in rooms should be cleaner. There was sand on the floor when we arrived and there is quite some dirt under the beds. However, the bed was made every day and the towels were (unnecessarily) replaced. Also, there was a humid odor in the room as there were no windows to ventilate. If the floor was a bit more clean I would recommend this accommodation as the location is perfect.

Hou je van stappen en laat slapen dan is dit hotel top en op perfecte locatie. Zo niet, kijk dan snel verder naar een ander hotel. Mooi oud pand maar daardoor ook ontzettend gehorig. We konden ‘s nachts niet slapen van al het lawaai op straat (er zijn meerdere bars). Ook binnen is het ontzettend gehorig en kan je alles (!) horen wat je buren zeggen of doen. De kamer is ook ontzettend klein en voor een gezin niet prettig. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en bij aankomst krijg je een drankje bij de rooftop bar.

Als je op zoek bent naar een rustig hotel met weinig geluid, dan zou ik deze niet aanraden. Wij hadden de grootste kamer gereserveerd maar deze bleek op de begaande grond naast een cafe te zitten. Alles van de straat kon je hier horen. Alsof er een raam openstond. Toen de liveband van het cafe ook nog eens begon te spelen waren we er wel klaar mee. Hebben toen een veel kleine kamer in het trappenhuis gekregen. Veel rustiger, maar alsnog niet ideaal. Het ziet er allemaal mooi uit, maar wij hebben er geen goede ervaring gehad. Voor dat geld zijn er betere plekken in Casco Viejo.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! We didn’t get any sleep and neither will you. We loved the neighborhood but the noise in the hotel at night was ridiculous! The problem is that on the roof of the hotel is a restaurant/bar/disco and they BLAST the music until 2am. It’s actually quieter outside on the balcony somehow than it is in your hotel room. OK, so just sleep after 2am, right?! WRONG!! From 2am to 3am they start moving the furniture. If you’re on the second floor, your ceiling is their floor. Every night for an hour they’re dragging furniture. They couldn’t make any more noise with the furniture if they tried. So sleep after 3am, right?! That’s what we’d hoped. However, the demolition and construction start at 4am. And it’s loud. Just as you’d imagine a full on renovation project would be. Remember, this isn’t a usual start time. It’s 4am! A full on renovation project that sounds like it’s in your room begins everyday at 4am. Voices. Power tools. Demolition. 4am. We didn’t get any sleep until we checked into a different hotel. Under no circumstances should you stay at this hotel.

Don’t stay here
The airport shuttle service was never offered, the rooms are tiny but no matter. The music from the disco above did not stop until 1:00 a.m. despite earplugs we heard everything. Every chair moving on the cement floor every bottle dropping, I did not feel secure either as you could simply climb the stairs and enter our rolls from the street. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone a good nights sleep. I would recommend you drop toss hotel from your program.

better like the rooftop action around here
it is loud at night, if you are a light sleeper, might not be right for you, I can sleep through anything, but my wife can't and didn't. Many rooftop restaurants, bars, etc.. that straight quarter note bass drum beat goes on forever around here!!! otherwise, like the closeness to everything in Casco Viejo, ocean, views, restaurants and bars etc...

Väldigt ohjälpsam och oengagerad personal. Inga fönster i rummet. Extremt lyhört. Kändes som att bo i en källare utan fönster där folk sprang utanför hela tiden. De städade inte rummet eller bäddade om under hela vår vistelse. Läget var dock bra.

READ THE OTHER REVIEWS! You're, pretty much sleeping on the dance floor. The music is blasting till 2am. Loudest place I've ever stayed. This is nothing like a club next door, this place is like your mattress is on top of the sound system. The AC barely works, (on all day and it was still very hot) and the faucet didn't have cold water. Also other people's hairs were found on the pillow, don't think the pillow case was changed. I checked out early and they didn't look surprised, I'm sure they are used to people running after the first night. This place is NOT a 4 start hotel! Straight up scam.

this is a very nice hotel. Super friendly staff and very helpful. Very clean and the place has a funky vibe! Great location at a good price. The only downfall is the rooftop bar that plays extremely loud dance music until 1:30 in the morning. So loud earplugs don't help!

It isn't often that I write reviews about places but this hotel stands out. We made the mistake to base the hotel on the pictures and when we saw the pool we were sold. But what isn't in the description of the hotel is that the pool is part of the rooftop bar RIGHT above the hotel. Why did I write that with capital letters? Let me explain. The rooftop bar is open till 1am on the week days and later on the weekends. If you have a room on the second floor like we did, expect a LOT of noise from the rooftop bar. This went on till about 2AM in the morning. Loud banging noises like gas canisters maybe being dropped. Chairs moving around. Back to the rooms. We had two two queen bed rooms 27 and 25 and the beds were pretty comfy. Balcony seems attractive on the photos but reality, it wasn't inviting to sit out there. Bathroom: has all the amenities but the shower is kinda odd. You'll get sandwiched between two shower curtains if you want some privacy from the room. It could be fun if you want some naughty time I guess and leave the roomside curtain open - if you catch my drift. The hallway light kept going on and off outside of our doorway making me wonder if there was alot of traffic, which didnt seem like it. Checkout: we were allowed to leave our luggage under the stairway in a locked cabinet. What we didn't know and didn't receive is a ticket to proof its your stuff. After a big sigh from the male clerk, we got our suitcases and left for the airport.
