Drijf weg en geniet van je vakantie in dit huis met drie verdiepingen in Seacrest Beach. Home fronten 30-A en beschikt over een volledig gesloten PRIVATE BINNENPLAATS met een grill, een eettafel en ligstoelen perfect om te ontspannen en te zonnebaden! Geniet van een panoramisch uitzicht op de GOLF en 's avonds zonsondergang vanaf het dek op de 3e verdieping. '' DRIFTWOOD COTTAGE '' is slechts een paar stappen naar de 12.000 SF Lagoon Pool waar Seacrest bekend om staat en is ideaal gelegen tussen Rosemary Beach en Alys Beach. Toegang tot het strand is slechts een korte wandeling van 1 min aan de overkant van de straat en als lopen geen optie is, zal de gemeenschapstram van Seacrest Beach je hele groep naar de witte zandstranden brengen. Deze vakantieparadijs is perfect gelegen voor al het plezier eromheen! Het huis beschikt over een open woonkamer / keuken, keramische tegels en hardhouten vloeren, 3 grote slaapkamers, een op het hoogste niveau met een eigen ligbad en inloopkast die opent naar een beschutte veranda en een eigen binnenplaats. De woonkamer beschikt ook over een tweepersoons slaapbank. NIEUW AANGEPASTE KEUKEN is voorzien van een nieuw fornuis, granieten aanrechtbladen, glazen betegelde rugspetters, verlichting en houten beschot. Er zijn twee extra slaapkamers op de 2e verdieping, elk met een eigen groot balkon. De ruime master-suite komt uit op een eigen balkon en heeft een aparte inloopdouche, een bubbelbad en dubbele wastafel. Het 3e niveau heeft een lounge / woonkamer met een tweepersoons slaapbank en een dubbele slaapstoel. De decks aan beide zijden zijn een perfecte ontsnapping om te genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op de Emerald Coast! Dit prachtige huis bevat ook strandspullen. Je kunt de credits gebruiken voor strandstoelen, strandwagons, speelgoed of kajaks.

We loved the house and the location to everything… shops, beach, and pool. We did have a few issues though with the property:- the silverware needs replaced, there were no spoons- several light bulbs were out and need replaced. The whole lighting needs updated. It was very dark. - there is mold in the grout in both upstairs bathrooms- there is a large crack in the ceiling of one of the upstairs bathrooms that needs fixed- the hose outside is broken and needs replaced- I know you can’t pick who your neighbors are when you rent a vacation home but there was a group of 11 young men staying in the house next door who were carrying on until 4:00 in the morning every night.

I think the house was great. The description of sleeping 12 is a stretch for sure. Also, although an email was sent for bands and such it would have been nice to see that also through vrbo. Indidnt reaf the email until we were there so we didnt get bands for the beach. The chairs outside should be looked at

Great house for a large family

We came here for spring break. The house had more than enough space for our family with older kids. Great location. Can’t beat it. The only suggestion that I would have is more clear instructions on where to pick up up the wristbands. Instead of instructing people to look for a P on the map, simply say “go to the pool”’ to pick up welcome packet and wristbands.

Driftwood Cottage is a great property, it has a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms with plenty of outdoor options for eating and relaxing. We had 2 issues - the grill didn’t work and internet connectivity was intermittent. The property managers were responsive and helpful.

Girls Trip!

Great location and Neighborhood for a girls trip! We had ages from 13-60. Loved the tram stop right outside the front door and easy walking distance to the beach (4 minutes), shopping, restaurants, Rosemary and Alys! House was a great set up for 8 people and could have easily handled a few more! Overall the house was very clean and new! Furniture, bathrooms, kitchen etc were all great! Super comfy beds, great water pressure in the shower and a big washer and dryer. A well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, silverware, cups, service bowls, etc. Big pantry, plenty of areas to sit and relax indoors and out! Xbox, games, Tvs on multiple floors. A couple of Negatives... 1. There was not a broom. There was a dust brush and dust pan, but nothing to do a good sweep of the kitchen and living room wood floors. 2. We killed a couple of spiders on the wall inside. 3. A bed blanket and a mattress pad on a pull out couch had some stains..... 4. Downstairs bedroom closet shelves were broken and no room for hanging clothes. None of these were the end of there world, We just didn't sweep and dealt with the sand on the floor, we killed the spiders and we took the blanket off the bed, didn't use the pull out couch, and keep our clothes folded. Overall, we would stay here again and had a great vacation! The location in Seacrest can't be beat!

Needs improvement

The three of us came for a girls weekend to beach, shop, relax, eat & unwind. We arrived at 1am & by 7:30am the next morning, we had a parking violation on our vehicle because we didn’t have the proper permit. The office was closed when we arrived, so…we were put off by this action. Then, that morning we went to the check in office at the pool. They gave us a packet. When we got back to the house the packet had NO permit inside, but we had plans for the entire day & didn’t have time to go back to get the permit until after the office’s closing, so of course, we got another violation ticket on the car the next morning. It was ridiculous. When we arrived at the house at 1am the first night there was a HUGE roach - i am talking several inches large in the bedroom downstairs. We were very upset about it & couldn’t catch it and it went from the ceiling to the wall to under the bed. When we woke up there was a huge spider on the kitchen counter. Many of the lights didn’t work, including the one in the master BR on the fan, the one on the main floor on the fan, & many bulbs were out. There were no cushions on the outdoor furniture on the third floor patio, which was pictured with cushions, so we had to bring blankets and pillows to sit out there each morning & put them back each morning. The seal on the door on the downstairs bedroom had a huge gap. The paper products were horrible in quality for the price of this property. The master BR shower wasnt clean.

Driftwood Cottage was clean and beautiful! It accommodated 8 people (4 adults and 4 kids) well. The neighborhood itself is cute and offers a wonderful pool! Overall, the access to the beach is convenient, however we were limited where we could sit at the beach. While chairs were available for purchase, all guests of our neighborhood were limited to a small section of the beach. That was very disappointing to us. Rosemary Beach has cute shopping and good food options. Highly recommend bikes because parking is limited and traffic becomes congested. We had issues with the Wi-Fi and maintenance was called twice. Inconsistent cooling (AC) in the house.

Lovely Home

The house was very lovely… neat and clean. Location was great for getting to the beach quickly but be prepared for a VERY small and crowded designated beach area. The house description on line was not the same as the info sent to us from rental company. On line had 3 designated parking spaces and check in time was 3:00. Info sent to us from rental company was 2 parking spaces and 4:00 check in.. we also had an issue with our tv that we reported that i never heard back from. Other than that it was a great trip and the location is walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

A fun rental

This house was clean, really nicely decorated, cozy & just as shown in the pictures. The kids loved the rooftop hammocks. It was a great place to stay for our family of older teens on spring break- they loved biking around to nearby ice cream, shopping, meeting up with friends & going to the beach. The area overall was less of a good fit for our younger child (over the spring break time frame) due to the huge number of teens & college kids everywhere. The location is very close to everything you could need- we only used our car once & could walk or bike to everything (aside from a shipt order of groceries). The only reason I would not recommend this location would be for a family with young children on spring break, as there are a million older teens biking around and the activities and language are frequently not appropriate for young kids. It’s also very difficult to get beach space or any kind of restaurant reservation or even carry out food or coffee at this time of year and lastly, the big beautiful seacrest pool is not heated, so it was ice cold at this time of year, so that was a bit of a disappointment . Older teens don’t seem to mind these things because they love biking around & socializing. Again, the property itself was great. Our only issue with the property itself was we could not get anyone to answer our emails or return our calls several times when we attempted to extend our stay even well before leaving.

seacrest beach -driftwood cottage

Driftwood Cottage is a lovely home away from home. It’s in a nice location with easy proximity to the beach and pool. The beach for seacrest community is very limited and was jammed up and not what we expected so we spent most of our time at the pool. The courtyard is a plus and a really nice feature. The house is spacious and has various places to gather as well as to have your quiet space. It could use a little refreshing to get a totally 5star rating. Master bedroom mattress is soft and has “sleep divets”, the washer did not work properly and wouldn’t spin out the clothes so we came home with a weeks worth of dirty laundry and towels. We did call maintenance and they replied they’d be by to check it, but we never saw them. The kitchen is adequate for rental but by no means luxurious if that’s important to you. We would stay there again but would hope to see a few of these features refreshed as they are able. All in all it’s a nice home. It’s the end of summer and I imagine it’s had heavy use the last few months and needs a little TLC.

Good location

This property was in a great location. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5-10 minutes to shops. The house was clean and spacious. When you walk in it’s in the living room then dining room And kitchen. Next is a bedroom. You get to the back patio from there. It backs right up to 30A. The second level has the master with the trundle bed. The other bedroom in the floor is just one bed. Third level is a living room with a pull out couch and a chair. The chair is not something you can really sleep on and doesn’t even come with bedding. It was really unfortunate bc our group was 13 and that was the 13th spot. We had to end up sleeping 3 in the king bed. The pull outs are pretty uncomfortable as well. The mattress upstairs was old and stained and very thin. Just as a heads up a couple things we were not prepared for. The house does not provide anything for the beach including beach towels and you aren’t supposed to take any towels there. They don’t provide any extra towels or bedding and the pull outs only come with thin blankets. There was only one trash bag provided. Not laundry soap. No spices or oil or salt and pepper. Not a lot of toilet paper or extra paper towels. I think there was only 2 towels for the kitchen and one we had to use for the leaky freezer. Another heads up is you can’t contact the management company through VRBO. I never got any info from them until I was charged the second time. I had been trying to contact them through the VRBO app but they don’t get those you have to call them. There are beach credits but just a heads up it doesn’t cover it all. And you have to book well in advance. Last bit of info the beach access is right across the street. We had no idea how to get there and it looks like you have to go through a private area bc the gates for cars. You can use the walkway with your band on. We were super frustrated at the lack of info we had been given so hopefully this helps. I hate to say anything bad bc this house is great but I would have wanted to know these things ahead of time.

Coastal Comfort

We enjoyed our week at Driftwood Cottage. Its location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or the pool, the decor is beautiful, and there is plenty of room to spread out, even for two families!
