'This is the most wonderful country hotel, perfectly situated with so many amazing amenities. I swam in the heated pool in the middle of winter. I didn't have a bathing costume but could buy one at a very low price. Sham our walking guide was fantastic. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. 'Hotel Green Valley is situated at a beautiful spot. Unfortunately we did not see the Himalaya due to the cloudy weather. The hotel is comfortable but the rooms could be more cosy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Especially Rak Kumar was very attentive. Because almost no one had diner at the dining room, the atmosphere was a bit lonely.'

'Nice hotel that is close to Boudha Stupa which has good restaurants and tourist shops. The hotek had a good restaurant for lunch and dinner and drinks but breakfast is buffet but not kept hot. Mostly Asian style breakfast foods. That was the only negative. The room was clean and spacious and lobby is nicely decorated as is the pool and courtyard areas. Quite comfortable.'

'Location made shops and local attractions convenient. Very helpful with diet restrictions. Let the hotel reception help organise tours inside Kathmandu and in the surrounding area. There local knowledge meant trips were much cheaper than with tour operators. '

'The building is incredible, showcasing the temple design. The room is large and spacious. The staff were 10/10 - had great food each night. And the option to do yoga and a heritage walk really made the stay special. '

'Close to airport, very clean and great service from all the staff. Loved how spacious our room and bathroom was. If you stay here, there is no need to go outside for food, they have variety of choices. We had their thali, momo and breakfast, they were all so delicious.
