'Kikala Waterfall Lodge is a unique experience. Nature is your lullaby. We fell asleep to the sound of flowing water, croaking frogs, and the birds chirping. The rain shower added to the experience. Walkable to a gorgeous park and restaurant.(Ola Brew)Definitely clean, no bugs!Enjoyed the balcony and watching the chickens in the morning.Located in a vintage resort converted to apartments. All the residents we met were very nice. . Definitely use the 395 Hualani St address in the GPS. Much easier to park.Owner was very prompt to answer any questions. You will need to download an app to use the washer and dryer (it’s easy!)Pleasant stay.'

'Our stay was truly exceptional,with a fantastic location, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuinely warm welcome. I do have one suggestion: considering adding Rubens Mexican to your recommened dining options, as it is a Hilo institution since1979. We actually made a special trip to Hilo to bring back a large order, and I highly recommend it to future guest. 'I was in Hilo for a month for work and stayed at Maggie's place. It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs. Various places to eat or get groceries that are within a 10 min walk or a couple of mins drive.
