Historische schuilplaats - Unieke vakantie in het hart van Amish Country

Op zoek naar een unieke plek om herinneringen te bewaren met je groep? Zoek niet verder! Verbouwde historische boerderij gebouwd in de jaren 1700 door vroege kolonisten van het paradijs. Weer tot leven gebracht met moderne accenten en gemakken - allemaal centraal gelegen tussen Gesprek, Paradise, Bird in Hand en Strasburg. We zijn ook 45 minuten van Hershey Park! Een echt unieke plek om te verblijven met heel veel karakter! Direct naast onze andere vermelding genaamd "Paradise Place" - Perfect voor familiefeesten!

De ruimte:
Kom en verblijf in een deel van Paradise History! Dit huis is gebouwd aan het einde van de 17e eeuw en is sindsdien een residentie. We hebben het omgetoverd tot een plek voor gasten om te komen en te blijven om te genieten van het gebied en het huis. Het is een huis met 4 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers.

Het is een oud huis met veel charme en karakter. Verwacht tijdperk correcte deuren en deurklinken, levende houten balken en echte stenen muren, allemaal met moderne accenten zoals centrale lucht om het in de 21e eeuw te brengen.

Dit huis herbergt vier slaapkamers met vijf queensize bedden en een slaapbank - Een kelder slaapkamer, met de rest van de slaapkamers op de bovenverdieping. Een badkamer op de begane grond, met de andere twee badkamers boven. Alle drie de badkamers zijn volledige baden om gasten te ontvangen. Toegang tot de keuken en eetkamer bevindt zich op de begane grond, met trappen op en neer voor slaapvertrekken.

Perfect voor groepen met voldoende ruimte om binnen en buiten te verzamelen, maar toch genoeg ruimte om weg te komen en privacy te hebben.

Dit huis kan oud zijn, maar het heeft nieuwe ramen, bijgewerkte airconditioning, een moderne boerderij keuken, modern sanitair en elektrisch, en alles wat nodig is om een groep comfortabel te hosten!

We zijn 45 minuten van Hershey Park, en slechts 10 minuten van Sight and Sound, Dutch Wonderland en Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. Zo veel om zo dichtbij te doen!

Plenty of room / great location

This is a very nice house! Only 10 minutes from Sight and Sound and train museum. Comfortably slept 12 with use of a very nice rollaway bed. My mattress was a little dated but just fine. The hot tub is a nice touch after a long day out and about. Oh, hit the “jet” button twice for harder intensity. If you have younger children, bring your own toys although the house was quite kid friendly except for the stairs. We did find a child gate later on. We loved the fact that all of us could sit at the main table together for dinner. If we go back to the area, we will definitely look to see if the place is available again. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our time at this home. Plenty of space. Very cozy and welcoming. Love the charm of this 1700s home. We were close to everything that we wanted to be close to. The only items I would suggest attention to are: the ice machine was incredibly slow. Buy a bag of ice on your way into town. Also, only 1 garbage bag was not enough for our stay. Lastly the hot tub was a nice bonus, but it had tons of foam and was very cloudy and smelled strongly of chemicals. All in all we absolutely loved this home. Thanks for having us.

Very historical, homey destination. Ample space to spread out in different areas or be together for tv or games or visiting. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Outside space is beautifully landscaped with large yard, patio with swing, fire pit, large table…Great for morning coffee or evening time together lit up with string lights! Well-stocked kitchen, nice appliances, large farm table with plenty of space for a large family. If we return again next year for Sights and Sounds, we’d like to rent again!

Labor Day weekend trip

Very nice home just minutes away from Dutch Wonderland, Tanger and Rockvale Outlets and all of the other Lancaster attractions. The home was very clean and just as advertised in the listing. We definitely recommend staying at this home and look forward to renting it again in the future.

Spooky Nook Get away

We were 3 dads and their teenage boys in for 🏀 tournament from Boston. Approx 30 min away and provided very relaxing, clean, and comfortable home. A farmhouse atmosphere but with updates/renovated bathrooms and kitchen, and the tired out boys loved the hot tub. The kitchen was so accommodating for the couple of dinners we made at home. No Better Place To Make Memories!

This was the second year my husband and I booked this property for a long weekend getaway with our children/spouses and grandchildren. The property is an 1850 stone home that kept many of the antique elements in tact, such as some interior doors with unique orig hardware, yet all the needed modern amenities. There is a large grassy yard for the children to play & a patio with a gas fire pit, Adirondack chairs & picnic table for the adults to relax. The location was central to all, house was clean & well maintained, with comfortable beds. A child gate was in the upstairs closet that was helpful to block off the stairs at night for our littlest one traveling with us. Another thoughtful touch for those, was the Easter/Spring decor on the beautifully set dining room table, mantle in the kitchen & a couple of Happy Easter pillows in the den. Little details mean a lot. The host was prompt in response to contact & our family would recommend this home to others.

Lovely weekend!

We had a lovely weekend and appreciated the coziness of this home. The beds we’re comfortable and we enjoyed the special touches that the owners shared through the offered inventory of tea bags, Lancaster coffee and local soft drinks. A couple of things you might want to check into…there were small ants in the dishwasher both times prior to running, a new can opener would be beneficial, and we had difficulty getting the bottom of the blender out of the blender base. Thanks for a wonderful opportunity to spend time with friends of almost 50 years!

Well appointed cozy home

It was nice to have a welcome sign with our name on it when we arrived. The property was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could imagine to help cook whatever you were cooking. The beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets. The lighting in the bathroom and in the kitchen area could be brighter and The steps going up to the bedrooms were a little hard to navigate. Overall, this home was a delight to stay at And the owner was very easy to work with. It made for the perfect cozy getaway to Lancaster. The location is close to everything as well.
