'What an atmospheric place. We arrived with the wind coming off the sea and the waves crashing on the shore right in front of the hotel. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach. Downstairs the hotel has comfortable seating and a very large terrace with bar. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Very nice hosts. It is an out of the way spot so you definitely need your own transport. A 7 minute drive towards Corinth brings you to local amenities and cafes. Air conditioning provides cooling and...

'Beautifully remote and peaceful — perfect for a break from busy city life. The drive up includes a somewhat stressful mountain road, so while AWD isn’t strictly necessary, it’s definitely preferred. Once you arrive, it’s all worth it. The views are absolutely stunning, and the sea is crystal clear with lots of fish — ideal for swimming and relaxing. The place is quiet, almost secluded, which adds to the charm. Overall a great experience, though the price is on the higher side.'

'Voordat we naar Athene gingen hebben we overnacht in hotel Lido. Ontvangst was hartelijk en voor de verandering in het Nederlands. Kamer was prima en de service was top. Heerlijk aan het water gezeten onder het genot van een biertje. Tevens in de avond gegeten maar dit was niet van een topkwaliteit....jammer. Volgens andere gasten was de lunch wel uitstekend...maar die wordt dan volgens ons verzorgd door de eigenaresse. Ontbijt zit helaas niet bij de prijs in maar was erg lekker en uitgebreid....

I didn't like the buffet at all for breakfast, overall the room was like a 5 star hotel and buffet an average 3 star. Overall I rate this a 4 for that reason. '

"Great stay. Appartment was excellent for a family with 3 kids. Location is a bit far away from the main roads which makes sight seeing take a good part of your day. Remember to do some proper supermarket shopping before arriving if you can because the shops in Aliky are rubbish and expensive. There are a few nice restaurants so that helps. All in all a nice stay!"
