Super centraal gelegen fijn hotel!
Le Mareuil ligt super centraal in het 3de arrondissement. Op loopafstand van veel leuke restaurants en nog geen 5 minuten van Metrostation Republique van waaruit je eenvoudig de hele stad bereisd. Het hotel zelf is keurig en heel comfortabel. De kamers zijn klein (zoals in veel hotels in Parijs), maar buitengewoon efficient ingericht. Alles wat je kunt wensen is aanwezig... behalve misschien een waterkoker om een kopje thee mee te zetten. Het personeel is heel hulpvaardig en service gericht en spreken bovendien zeer goed Engels. Ik zou zeker terug gaan naar dit hotel en het aan andere mensen aanbevelen.

Very nice hotel in a great area of Paris
Because it was very busy at the time in Paris I had to search for a hotel that was not exraordinary expensive. Expedia let me to le Mareuil which turned out to be a great choice from hotel point of view. The hotel is very recently renovated and is very nice and comfortable. Unfortunately it is not very close to my office otherwise I would definately make this my favorite! The area around the hotel has some very nice restaurants and is close to the Metro (Republique). Definately worthwhile!

The hotel was clean, nice with medium sized rooms. I appreciated that the hotel was very close to a main station that had access to 4 subway lines. The hotel did offer breakfast. The breakfast choice was okay not the best but it was suitable for a 5 day in Paris

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Zimmer sind in einem super Zustand. Erwähnenswert ist die Sauberkeit der Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig zu den Metro Haltestellen. In der Umgebung gibt es zahlreich Caffé-Bars und Bäckereien. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, aber Kaffee und Wasser ist kostenlos und immer verfügbar. Die Touristensteuer ist etwas übertrieben, da kann das Hotel nichts dafür aber sollte trotzdem erwähnt werden. Für 4 Übernachtungen sind 65€ fällig, Dank Olympische Sommerspiele.

Hidden Gem
All of the staff, especially Harold at check-in, were lovely. I was upgraded to a room on the 6th floor, which was quiet (except for other guests who don’t seem to know how to close a door without letting it slam shut) and had everything I needed, including a soaking bathtub - perfect after long flights and days full of walking. Are room sizes grand? No. That is how things are, but what is important is that it is super clean and comfortable. There is also a sauna available for guests. You’ll find robes provided in your room. The 24-hour espresso machine is a plus. In the past, I chose hotels as close to Gare du Nord as possible for convenience to CDG airport and the trains going everywhere. However, this location is ++!! I used to live in the 5th & 20th, so it was nice to learn the area around République better. It’s super walkable and much less busy. I did not opt for the breakfast, as I wanted to get out and try as many bakeries and restaurants as possible, but the dining room looked nice. To my fellow vegans: Go to Land & Monkeys (see photo with espresso at the hotel), Cloud Cakes bakeries - grab some meals to go at either for your flight home; dinners at Aujourd’hui Demain & Soya Canteen… all within 10-25 mins walking distance. I have already recommended this hotel to friends who plan to visit Paris soon, and when I return, Hotel Le Mareuil will be my first choice!

Beautiful hotel , interconnecting rooms much larger than expected . Staff so incredible friendly and helpful . Only downside was renovations happening so gym was out of order which I had been looking forward to using and only told one week before but apart from that , hotel was perfect in a great area for metro / restaurants etc . Paris delight
Great hotel with very friendly & helpful check-in staff. Very conveniently located within a couple of minutes walk from two Metro stations (Republique & Oberkampf) and close to many restaurants, bakeries & small supermarkets. Breakfast is not complimentary but there is free tea, coffee & hot chocolate throughout the day (in the ground floor) available for guests. The family interconnecting rooms are fantastic. The room sizes are very reasonable for Paris standards and the beds are very comfortable. There is a shower & toilet and a small fridge in each room with 2 complimentary bottles of water. The WiFi is stable and fast and the location is quiet. Highly recommended!

Buena estancia
El hotel está bien ubicado, en una buena zona, pero chiquito y la habitación muy reducida, casi sin nada de espacio de ropero, lo cual hace incomoda la estadía. El personal muy amable y con buena actitud, pero uno tiene que bajar al lobby si se le ofrece algo, no lo suben a la habitación, lo cual no me pareció bien.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They even took our luggage as we arrived early in the day. The room A/C was comfortable and the accommodations perfect for our needs. Wifi was adequate and it was easy to get to several metro lines. The neighborhood around had lots of food options. We appreciate how quiet the neighborhood was. No loud restaurants or heavy smoking nearby.
