Great location if you need to access gare du nord or gare de l’est by foot. Clean, quiet and very friendly staff. No mini bar in room but i loved it because i cannot stand the noise it makes at night. They offer soft drinks and snacks, including gluten free! (for free) in the club area, i loved it!

Mijn dochter en ik hebben het geweldig gehad. Super mooi en schoon hotel. Erg aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Alleen om avonds terug te komen, als je erg laat zou komen , kan het erg intimiderend zijn met de mensen wie daar rond lopen op straat. Mijn dochter en ik waren altijd rond 20.00 uur binnen, later wordt het namelijk wel wat grimmiger. Voor de rest niets op het hotel en de kamers aan te merken. We hebben een fijne trip en herinnering eraan over gehouden.

Erg goed hotel, goed bereikbaar, matig uitzicht
OKKO Gare l’est is een prima hotel. Goed verzorgd prima service. Dichtbij trein en metro dus erg comfortabel. Enige minpuntje is de locatie: direct naast Gare l’est - tegen het perron aan. Hierdoor is het geen ‘mooie’ locatie met dus geen uitzicht over Parijs. Verder uitstekend hotel.

Location is perfect, next to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. They give you free cold/hot drinks with snacks in the lobby. The room was ok. Enough space. But I had bad luck, I had a room and hear the bubble from the sewer, everytime if other gues take a toilet. That was a little bit shame.

Wat een heerlijk hotel, met vriendelijk personeel, ideaal gelegen (5 min. van Gare du Nord en naast Gare de l'Est, en de metro). Maar ook kwartiertje wandelen naar Montmartre en de Sacré Coeur). Hotelkamer heerlijk. Ja, er werd gewerkt aan en op het station, maar raam dicht en je hoorde niks. Kamer erg netjes, elke dag weer heerlijk fris opgemaakt bed en ideaal dat je drinken en wat versnaperingen mocht pakken. Wat een fijn hotel!

Central location. Clean and new hotel. 30 minutes walk from a lot of the tourist spots. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. We will be back (and hopefully soon).

Goede eerste ervaring met OKKO
Alles was goed gegaan. Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen. Kamers zagen er netjes en schoon uit. In de avond kwamen wij erachter dat het water in de douche niet goed werkte. Dit gemeld bij de receptie en we kregen direct een andere kamer. Heel fijn en snel geregeld zonder moeite. Ontbijt bij het hotel is prima. Voldoende keus voor een ontbijtje. Het hotel ligt naast station Oost. Ziet er niet uitnodigend uit omdat er werkzaamheden zijn aan het spoor. Maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad omdat wij er in het weekend waren.

Prior to booking, reviews stated it was a safe area, however, upon arrival that was not the case. The hotel locks the gates after a certain time and failed to mention at check in and had a hard time getting ahold of anyone to let us back inside being in an area. The shower did not drain properly and the staff was more than happy to remedy the situation but sent maintenance in our room while we were not in the room nor aware. They moved us room but only to have to same plumbing problem. Would not recommend.

The Hotel is just next to the Metro station, but there is no noise at all. The 2min walk to the station is very safe. The room place is well kept clean and up to date The best part of the accomodations is the 24 hr club, where you can enjoy snacks, coffee and water for free!

There was an overwhelming sent of perfume in the lobby, and sitting area. Just awful to walk into that. It was very unnecessary and could not sit to drink coffee because the sent was so overbearing. The staff is friendly & nice. Don’t Expect water bottles in the rooms, only filtered in the lobby. I found alot of dust in the room and the sheets give off so much lint. So keep your stuff away from the bed. Major plus is the subways are down the block & it’s a lively area so you won’t feel unsafe.

Fantastic staff! There was some road construction around the property when I was there - (4/5 for area question). Convenient to station!

OKKO Paris Est is my home away from home when in Paris. It’s only a few hundred meters from the platform of my High Speed Train service to Strasbourg. 5 minute walk also from Gare du Nord. Situated near very important transportation hubs. Places to eat and shops in Gare De L’Est. The booking design is refreshing and the CIWL Orient Express train theme within the hotel is very neat and well thought out it beeing right next to platform 1 of Gare De L’est. I’ve stayed here a dozen times and love it here.
