Van Britse afkomst richtte ik in 1999 mijn bedrijf 'Pad A Terre' op als alternatief voor 4-5 sterren hotels in Parijs voor een veeleisende cliëntèle die op zoek is naar meer ruimte voor minder, maar geen compromis over hun gebruikelijke comfort. Ons unieke aanbod, consistente toewijding aan professionele normen en service voor professionele praktijken, strikte naleving van de marktregelgeving zorgen ervoor dat we een mooie positie verwerven in het topsegment van een groot Parijs vakantieverhuurbedrijf.

Ik werk sinds 2005 in samenwerking met HomeAway / VRBO.

Het appartement is gelegen in het hart van het historische Parijs.  Het penthouse van een 17e-eeuws houten gebouw bestaat uit een salon met een eethoek, een grote slaapkamer, een 2e slaapkamer en een volledig uitgeruste aparte keuken.   Het is verdeeld over drie verdiepingen en heeft het gevoel van een privéwoning.  Het appartement is geschikt voor maximaal 7 personen (5 bedden).

Een originele houten trap uit de 17e eeuw leidt naar de woonruimtes, een balken salon (elegante 18de-eeuwse spiegel) en een aparte keuken: volledig uitgerust, Siemens high-end oven, Miele wasmachine / droger. Alle gebruiksvoorwerpen zijn aanwezig om ervoor te zorgen dat de meest enthousiaste chef-koks onder u kunnen eten als u dat wilt

Een tweede trap leidt naar de 2 slaapkamers en de designerbadkamer van Philippe Starck (geïnstalleerd in 2015).  Het dakraam van de slaapkamer (verduisteringsgordijnen voor een goede nachtrust) biedt uitzicht op de naburige St. Eustache Church.  Massief gebleekt eiken parketvloer overal.

Mijn bedrijfsdoelstelling blijft hetzelfde sinds 1999: om comfortabele accommodaties te creëren, op dezelfde manier als elegante boetiekhotels, op benijdenswaardige locaties, die een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding bieden.

Alle bed- en badlinnen van de hoogste kwaliteit van Egyptisch katoen. Bedden bieden het hoogste niveau van comfort.

DE ONAFHANKELIJKE OP ZONDAG (VK)

U zult genieten van het verkennen van de fantastische markten voor openluchtproducten (in de rue Montmartre, op donderdag en zondag), ambachtelijke boetieks, genieten van de rijkdom van de levensgenieter terwijl u op de Franse manier winkelt.

Het gebied staat vol met fantastische restaurants en cafés. 'Le Comptoir de la Gastronomie' serveert de beste foie gras ravioli die je ooit zult hebben. Althans volgens VOGUE MAGAZINE en ik!

Op een steenworp afstand van het Louvre en de Seine, kunt u de centrale locatie van het appartement niet verslaan. Het aangrenzende voetgangersgebied Quartier Montorgueil belichaamt de essentie van het authentieke Parijse leven. Een van de meest kleurrijke straten van de hoofdstad.

Great apartment in a great location

We loved this high-style, modern apartment retrofitted inside a 500-year-old building in the heart of Paris. Host is very responsive (best responses ever). Check-in is easy. Laundry machine is great. Shower is great. furnishings are comfortable. Neighborhood is perfect. Convent to LesHalles & Chatelet train/metro stations. We wish we could have stayed longer

Perfect location for a variety of activities accessible by foot. - Metro is one block away. -The local market is right outside your door on Thursdays and Sundays. - Shopping, food, the Lourvre...all within walking distance! If walking or climbing stairs is not your thing, then this is not your location. Marcelle's is the best cafe (!).

Not as advertised!!!!

Note: My review keeps being deleted, so I am reposting it: We stayed at the "two bedroom" Louvre penthouse. According to the listing: "The apartment is located in the heart of historical Paris. The penthouse of a 17th Century timbered building, it comprises a drawing room with dining area, master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and fully equipped separate kitchen. Arranged over three floors, it very much has the feel of a private house. The apartment can sleep up to 7 people (5 beds)." First of all, it is a cramped, tiny 2-story STUDIO with a loft and a tiny room adjacent to the loft space that can hardly be called a bedroom. There is one queen-sized bed on the second floor and, in the tiny room behind it, a twin bed and a cot crammed next to it. So, TWO beds and a cot and a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. The main thing to note is there is NO PRIVACY if you have children, as it is really a studio. Please also note there is no microwave and not even a real refrigerator, only a mini-fridge that smells terrible. Also, one of the windows has no shade so prepare to wake up early! And the bathroom window is broken so when you open it, it falls off. The listing also claims there is a clothes dryer, coffee maker, elevator, desk, desk chair, printer, high chair, and gym access. None of these things is true. If I could give this place negative stars, I would.

Great Location & Wonderful Property!

This property is fantastic for families or couples looking to visit Paris. We had 2 adults and 3 children and fit well with the accommodations. Its location is fantastic - within walking distance of the Louvre, Notre-Dame, Sant Chappelle and a two minute walk to one of the main metro stations in all of Paris. We were able to get anywhere in the city within 10-15 minutes. In addition, the neighborhood and streets immediately next to the property have a myriad of shops and restaurants that make finding local cuisine very easy. Overall it was a fantastic experience and a property we would recommend to stay at.

Fantastic location

The place is small but in a great location. There really isn’t room for more than 4 people. Also, the place is on the 4th floor and you have to walk up very narrow stairs carrying your luggage so beware if not everyone in your party can handle it physically. However, for a small party it is wonderful.

Excellent location, in a great Paris neighbourhood.

Overall a comfortable stay, in Central Paris neighbourhood. The sleeping arrangements were a disappointment based on our interpretation of the web description. Fewer comfortable beds than expected. Also this is not a place if you have mobility issues as the stairs are challenging. But if you want to be in the heart of Paris a great choice!

Bijou apartment in the heart of Paris

Fantastic location, close to lovely shops, the Metro, restaurants, and within easy walking distance of many of the most special Parisienne sights. Wonderful boulangeries for breakfast croissants only minutes away. The church of Saint Eustache is a beautiful landmark, right behind the apartment building. Comfy beds and good shower. Pad a Terre were responsive to enquiries, and provided a very efficient welcome service. Having said that, we were four adult family members, and it felt like quite a tight squeeze in the space. There is a double bed on the mezzanine balcony, and we had a cot bed there too. There's a single bed in a small separate room, and a sofa bed in the sitting room, which takes up most of the floor space. This was ok for us, but I'd imagine would be less comfortable for 7 people, which the website suggests the apartment can take (especially if they're not up for sharing the single bathroom, as we were!). The online check in process was quite lengthy and I found the online form frustrating to navigate.

Lovely Stay!

Everything about the flat was lovely - from the comfortable beds (4 can sleep upstairs very comfortably - more if you use the pullout) to a spacious and clean bathroom complete with a large tub, hairdryer, and a starter kit with shampoo/a small bar of soap, body wash, nail file, cotton rounds, and q-tips. The apartment has effective air conditioning on both floors as well as a great washer/dryer and fridge. The flat was quiet and cozy as well as roomy enough for 4 of us to share the space. The location is just across the street from an entrance to many metro lines, close to great shopping on Rue Rivoli (especially for my "tween" daughter), almost adjacent to Pompidou, an easy jaunt to the Louvre, and just through a plaza / over a bridge to the neighborhoods where we wanted to be most often for dinner. The steps to the apartment may not have been the highlight but we are all able-bodied and the apartment is worth the walk-up. We loved seeing Parisian life below us at the cafes and on the balconies across the street - very authentic living. James is absolutely lovely and a gracious host - he responsive, kind, understanding, organized, and always ready to help (even when we sheepishly called him for assistance late at night!). We hope to be back again.

Recomiendo ampliamente este alojamiento. La ubicación es espectacular, tienes tiendas, restaurantes, y zonas de interés en cuanto sales del edificio; El espacio es suficiente para 5 personas, viajar con equipaje ligero es recomendable pues son 3 pisos de escaleras sin elevador.
