Great Location for a Ski Weekend
We visited Park City for a 3 day ski weekend, and this condo was perfect for our group of three guys. The mountain is a short 3-5 minute walk across the street and a parking lot, so it was easy to just walk back to the condo to take a break or get something. We were also able to easily walk into the main downtown area (10-15 min) to visit the restaurants and bars, though we could have taken the bus if needed. The location was perfect. The unit is right next to the hot tub and heated pool so that was super convenient after a long day on the slopes. The unit itself was clean and exactly as described. It is a compact unit, but we didn't feel cramped at all, plenty of room to spread out and the two bathrooms were nice to have. The unit ran a little warm for our tastes, but that wasn't really a problem. We also didn't have any issue with noise or outside sounds as others have commented on. It was a perfect unit for what we needed, and would highly recommend to others looking to visit Park City and who prioritize being walking distance to the mountain.

Great location!
The location of this condo is key, you can walk up the hill through the parking lot to First Timer lift or wait 5mins for the bus that runs right in front of the unit and ride it for 30seconds to get to the main crescent or payday lift/ticket area. Another bus from right out front takes you to/from Main Street in like 10mins. It has a hot tub and heated pool steps from the condo door. Standard condo unit - cute - beds were comfy- second bedroom has a queen and a twin which was great. Gas fireplace is nice. Living room a smidge small but good for us. Great communication and someone nearby to help with stuff like extra toilet paper if needed. Great ski trip!!

We came to town for our daughter's wedding. We were near her and every other guest. Parking was great. I wish I would have stopped at the condo before the grocery. The place was very stocked. Cooking oils, spices, hair dryers. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper. Towels, hair dryers, fans. The list goes on. It is more like a ski cabin than other places I have stayed but since it almost sits on top of the ski lift, I think it is perfect for the skier. I am not a skier, I was in town for a wedding. I slept great. The younger crowds were fun to watch from the balcony, yet the place was very sound proof. We did not hear much of anything once inside. I would most definitely rent again. My daughter who lives in Park City and is an avid skier, said it was the perfect location for a group of skiers.

Good location. Bad environment
Really enjoyed the location. Easy access to everything. Place is clean, but noisy because the doors squeak quite loudly, so it was impossible to be quiet in there. Top and bottom neighbors were loud until around 3am. All three nights we were woken by loud parties a couple doors over, and men brawling, even on Monday. Two of those nights, the police came, and it really made a racket when they were trying to deal with 25-30 partiers at the same. One night a panic alarm went off for an hour and woke everybody in the complex up. If not for the neighbors, this would be an awesome place. It’s well taken care of and well equipped. I’m sure that not everybody is going to experience this kind of thing, but something needs to be done because it was absolutely ridiculous and we didn’t sleep the whole time we were there

I'm so sorry about your experience. Normally it is a very quiet complex & I've never experienced issues with excessive partying, even over the holidays. Again, my apologies.& I am taking this issue up with the HOA so it doesn't happen again.

Amazing property manager; Unit a little dated
We loved the location (about a 1-block walk to the Park City parking lot). Chris was amazing. He's incredibly responsive and was a wealth of information. The kitchen was nicely stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes etc. Previous guests broke the coffee carafe, and Chris had a replacement delivered upon our arrival. There is a nice large TV in the family room. The fireplace worked great. There are nice spa towels for guest use. Hot tub was great. There are some things that could have been better. The sheets on the master bed appeared used. Chris let me know where I could find replacements, and I changed them before using the bed. This was a bit unfortunate as I got a good look at the mattress pad and it was unpleasantly soiled. The old sheets remained in the unit after I stripped the bed. Chris likely would have had them removed had I mentioned it, but I didn't ask. The bathrooms are VERY small and in need of updating. They both have tub/shower combos, and the faucets are old and worn and the drain plugs missing. The MB is institutional looking and the shower head is very low. I'm 5'7" and had to duck to use it. The single sinks are tiny, so there is no counter space. The property is dated, and the cement outside the front door is crumbling. The shag carpeting could use replacing. A few updates and this property could be amazing. On balance it was a nice unit though, especially for the price. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend properties Chris manages.

Thanks for your review. As the last guests of a very busy winter season & at the same time my property manager was out of town I tried to accommodate you the best I could. I honestly wasn't even going to rent it but I knew you wanted it & I do not like to disappoint. Now that the season is over the bedding is all being replaced to get ready for summer. I am 5' 7" also and I have never had to duck in the shower so I'm not sure what you mean by the heads being too low. They are at standard height.. The drain plugs for each tub were in the baskets on the top of the toilets. The cement coating on the landing in front of the door deteriorated due to all the ski boots going in and out. That is HOA responsibility & is on their list of spring repairs. Thanks again for all of your observations & comments.

Great Skiing Location (and Very Clean & Well Appointed)
Very nice condo with all of the amenities and then some. The property was very clean (spotless), well maintained and well supplied with everything you need. The location is great and within easy walking distance of the Payday chairlift and ski center. The walk is about 3 minutes, (300 meters?) While it was not a huge condo for 4 adults, it was certainly big enough and we were not tripping over each other. This was a very nice and functional condo and we had a great experience staying there. The owner (Chris) was very responsive on emails with directions and information. He is a five star owner in my book.

Hi Cindy, Thanks for the review. I took your comments to heart and removed the big wood king bed frame in the master bedroom to free up more space. Also, we are in the process of eliminating the tubs and switching to walk in showers in both bedrooms. Thanks again!

My husband and I stayed with 3 other adults. The accommodations were comfortable and convenient. We appreciated the front patio and spent much time there. The interior is nicely appointed and made you feel like you're were in a mountain cabin. Main St is a short shuttle ride away or if you prefer to walk, it's a very doable. We all enjoyed our time at Edelweiss.

Excellent location right across from one of the lifts. Quick walk to down town. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Great communication! We did have to lock our mountain bikes up on a rack in the courtyard as they are not allowed on the balcony or in the unit. Just keep that in mind if you brining your bikes! No issues though!

not what i expected
smelled weird and was very hot upon arrival. dingier than expected based on photos. shower heads are low. im a regular sized woman and had to stoop a little to get my hair wet. workers were there drilling into concrete right outside the door from 8am to 12pm on a friday. had to take work calls in the bathroom just to be able to hear. host was not very empathetic about that. location is fine. close to starbucks but not too much else in the way of nightlife.

Thank you for your review Kiki. It sounds like you did not walk up Park Ave. or hop on the free shuttle that takes you to Main Street/Old Town that stops in front of the complex every 10 minutes or so. Lots of Restaurants and bars there. Also, once you contacted me I immediately contacted Maintenance & once they knew you were staying there they informed me that they were shutting it down until the next Monday. Unfortunately I'm not sure what you mean about the shower heads as I have never had a complaint about that before & I'm usually fully booked up most of the year. Thanks for your comments though & I will share them with my property manager who lives a few doors down that you were supposed to contact with any problems during your stay. She mentioned to me that you never called her. Thanks again, Chris

Hi Mariel, Thank you for your review.. I came in immediately after you left and found that you completely trashed my condo. Even the handle on the frying pan was broken in half. There was garbage everywhere and my housekeeper had to charge an extra $100 to clean the condo. I have owned the unit and lived in it part time over the last18 years and have never set off the fire alarm. The fan on the range works great and there is a window in the kitchen that can be opened in case you need more ventilation. I did check both showers and did not find any problems with either one. The only thing I can figure out is that maybe you left the shower liner out of the tub enclosure so there was no way to contain the shower flow into the tub. Thanks again, Chris

Great location right on the bottom of Park city resort. Edelweiss house is a condo complex with 3 bldgs, hot tub, pool, laundry in one of the buildings (we didn’t use it), bus stop right upfront. We stayed for 3 days on a ski vacation and it worked out really well.

Ok, but very basic.
The property was pretty basic. No washer and dryer in the unit - we had to go to another building where there’s a shared facility. Because it’s a condo, you hear a lot of noise from other units. One night we had to call the police because there was a party downstairs that went on past 12;30 am. The place is basically a Residence Inn across from Park City Mountain.

Very nice condo as advertised. Great for our family of four with a kids room with two beds and a master bedroom. The showers are a bit dated but clean and functioned well. Great location! The hot tub and pool are not open in the off-season when we stayed in October. They close shortly after Labor Day and don't reopen until Park City opens for the winter.
